Oh, that is a good deal. Wasn't aware of that.
I got mine from the warehouse last time in 'like new'. Then did the cashback with Sony. Think it came to about £500 after all discounts. Great camera btw.

Risky though, you could well end up not getting the discount.

Nice! Was there any issues with the cashback, as it was used?

I picked it up to accompany my A7iii and Sony Lens.

No, if any issues, Sony would flat out deny the cashback. The camera was a customer return - everything was brand new inside. Maybe buyer's remorse or something. Because it was new, was able to register it too. Yes, a bit lucky but done it before with a lens and also a flash and both came through as also likely customer returns. You could always return it to Amazon if it's obvious it's had use so unlikely to receive the cashback since it's likely it will have been registered.
Should state it's body only

You can register for cashback not earlier than 30 days after purchase to prevent claiming cashback and returning.

I never understand that though. You could just buy the camera, open it and take a picture of the serial number, screenshot your invoice then return the product. 30 days passes and submit the claim.

Yes very naughty but could easily be done.

I wouldn't risk this deal as you have a 50/50 chance of the cashback.

Great if it comes off - crap if it doesn't.
This can get you in real trouble as it can be considered fraud
I'm pretty sure Sony is matching invoices with sellers - that's probably why list of sellers in cashback promo is limited.
