For all its low light loveliness, it's still 12 Megapixels and no image stabilisation.

Too expensive for me. One more camera in the house and I might have to factor in the price of a divorce.

Only 12x optical zoom at this price? Pants!
How does one claim cashback?
Bargain for serious night owls. Almost tempted myself.

How does one claim cashback?

How to claim:

Purchase a qualifying Sony camera or lens from the list below from Amazon.co.uk between October 18th, 2017 and January 21st, 2018

Once you've received your Sony product you will need to create a MySony account online registration.

Complete the claim online at either Sony UK Website or Sony ROI Website

Sony will not accept claims against products purchased from third party sellers on Amazon.co.uk's Marketplace platform (whether listed as new or used)

Only claim forms with valid serial number filled in, a photo of the serial number on the product and a copy of original printed sales receipt/sales invoice clearly showing the name of the retailer, the product name and date of purchase will be accepted. Online order confirmations are not accepted.

Thank you very much for that detailed reply. So will amazon be accepted as they only supply an online receipt usually?

Yes, they accept Amazons on-line receipt, had no problem with cash back when I bought my Sony A7 six months ago.

My Sony cashback claim hasn't been the most straight forward. I bought a A6000 last month and initially they rejected the claim saying the photo of the camera didn't match my claim. I had to tell them it's the same model. Then they paid me £50 instead of the advertised £100. Still trying to get the other £50.
