AG8 2019. Sony's motion handling is second to none, it's one of Sony's greatest strengths and one of LG's weaker areas.

Probably a daft question, but I'll ask it anyway...
Is there V.A.T. On top of this price? Thanks (not sure if vat is already on electrical items) Thanks in advance
VAT is included in £1799.98
It clearly states VAT not included, hisense 65 4k uhd h65b7300uk tv is not in stock at all. Im not a member do you have to be a member before you can buy.

1499 without VAT, but surely most of us will need to pay VAT

Not sure how far android Tv has come on these new Sony now but I have one and when compared to my other LG oled it’s like day and night .... the Sony takes minutes to load and do anything decent 5 min sometimes before I can choose Netflix despite there being a dedicated Netflix button! Plus WiFi comes and goes 4 to 5 times a months ... LG all the way for me
That Panasonic OLED is a great buy bit smaller at 55" but then it's near on £700 less too.
This is the best price on this OLED TV I have seen.

Android TV is fast and responsive on the AG8, there were early reviews when it first come out saying the OS can be buggy but it's been updated since then.
I know a lot of LG fans like to quote that the Sony OS is slow and buggy but it really isn't and no problems with WiFi either.

Funny enough I have the opposite experience, I have an LG TV in the bedroom with web OS that is painfully slow due to it being a budget model so it's also down to hardware limitations, not just the OS.

it does include VAT , I just checked . Only thing it doesn't have is Freesat as far as i can see. So will probably go for the LG . Any advise gratefully received though.
I've the 65xg9505 and very pleased with it. Android works flawlessly. Love the new controller on 2019 models. Was tempted by the ag8 though. Excellent sound and picture. Just too much extra money.

LG if you intend on using it for gaming. If you don't game and value picture quality, colour accuracy and the best motion processing then Panasonic or Sony. Tbh it's splitting hairs between all the oleds, they all have their pros and cons but they are all superb.

I think you've overexaggerating a bit here, but since the AF9 (which was the set before this one) Android TV's speed has been a solved problem on the Sony sets. They have a much faster processor and it's all hunky dory.

But if people are concerned they could try and find a Currys/John Lewis et al and try it themselves.
This is a good price for a 65" OLED from Sony. I got the LG C9 at the same price in mid November but would probably have gone for this for due to better motion processing sadly these were alot not expensive in November.
£100 cheaper at Black Friday!

Just remember if you are planning on wall mounting your expensive new TV to do some homework first, using appropriate fixings for your wall type! I have came across people trying to use "no more nails" to stick the bracket to the wall.........if unsure get someone with knowledge and previous installation experience

No silly, after you do the VAT it's around 100 less than the better deals LG oled out there.
