£240 knocked off the previous price, +£150 cashback you can get it for £879.
This price reduction is probably due to them potentially announcing the A7siii or A7iii (rumoured) on the 25th.

It does seem that way, I need to get one of these before xmas as I go away to Prague. Not sure whether to bite now or to hang fire till Black Friday. Have a weird feeling these will drop lower.

And? Professional landscape and weddingphotographers use the X-T2 which also isn’t full frame. Unless you’re a detail freak and zoom in 200-300% or print billboard size or shoot in the dark then you don’t need FF. You’re paying the extra £’s here for the new technology and the fact it’s better than an 80D in a package half the size

Not for me, I have a range of original Contax lenses which I wish to use. I have various digital cameras with smaller sizes of course

£1029 price seems to be for Prime members only - (BTW re previous comments, I'm not surprised to see that badge snobbery exists in camera gear similar to cars - lol)

How do you get the cash back exactly?

EDIT: Doesn’t look like Sony accept Amazon under the cash back scheme, called them up to confirm this.

Then why would it be listed here? I've got cashback multiple times using amazon to order sony products.

What total nonsense. I don't know who you spoke to but they have given you duff gen. As long as it Amazon themselves you are fine. Sellers on their marketplace are not. Ts & Cs on the Sony website make this very clear.
