same!
Does this have DLNA?
Just done some quick finding on CEX:

Spiderman 3 = 1.50
2012 = 2.00
Battle LA = 2.00
Hop = 2.00
This Is It = 1.50
The Adjustment Bureau = 2.00
Green Zone = 1.50
Twilight New Moon = 1.20

= £13.70

So if your not bothered about these films theres more money off which takes the player cost to a little over 40 notes.

Thanks to @Late for the Battle LA price

Ordered fab deal...
Just to make others aware, there is an issue with some of the video-on-demand services on these players. I had one myself and iPlayer was completely unusable to the point of crashing the player.

There is a thread on the Sony support forums here - sony.co.uk/dis…571 - but the feeling I got was that it wasn't going to be fixed so I returned mine.

As a stand alone blu-ray player it works fine and looks good but if you are buying it for the additional VOD services take care.

Battle LA = (couldn't find this)

They could probably sell it for more if they took out that Twilight garbage and chucked it in the bin

Does this have DLNA?

Probably, but pointless as sony hates codecs, cant play one MKV file or M2TS without encoding first on my 370

Hmmm. Have ordered but probably returning.

No DNLA. So no good for network connection to server.
Flaky with formats (according to reviews)
A smart box without Netflix, flakey iPlayer and others unsupported doesn't sound very smart.
USB won't power your portable Hard drive
No internal memory, so you will need to keep a pendrive plugged in to cache any services you access.

Sounds pretty poor now I've read that!

But it does play blu-rays!!! It also doesn't boil eggs FYI
would there be any chance of making it play any region blu ray disc

Can a surround sound system be used with this player?

Also, would people recommend picture/sound quality up there with higher end players?
I'm looking to buy a blu-ray player purely for wathing films, no other features are needed.

According to reviews on Reevoo, no Netflix on the UK version.
great for playing large .mkv on USB sticks and I-player
beware recent firmware updates that apply the Cinavia protection to the player

Mine plays MKVs fine from a 250gb powered USB drive and also from a HP 32GB USB stick - latest firmware

It depends on the system. HDMI in on the system would take the audio stream and do something with it. If you haven't got that, this has coax out.

Great price. Ordered and heat added
Paid £43 for one last month, this is a great deal with the Blu Rays they are throwing in. Excellent player, I only use it for upscaling my DVDs and quality is great and the unit itself is tiny so it's good for limited space. Only thing that annoys me is the buttons on the player can be unresponsive / very slow to action.

Really impressive upscaling and excellent sound through coax. As others have said iPlayer does work but is intolerably slow to navigate the menus, that said, my parents have one of these and ONLY use it for iPlayer!
HOT thanks
My old BD player packed up last week Perfect timing.

Thanks!
