Watch and listen in full HD 1080p

Bring a full High Definition cinema experience into your living room with the S370. Enjoy Blu-ray Disc movies in Full HD1080p quality and your existing DVD collection in near HD quality thanks to the player's upscale functionality and HDMI connection. The S370 also features BRAVIA Internet Video allowing you to access movies, TV shows, and music from YouTube, BBC iPlayer and more.

Key Features:
Full HD 1080p

Blu-ray is the clearest, most realistic video format to date, giving you images so sharp you can pick out every detail and crystal clear sound that makes you feel part of the world on screen. With Blu-ray you get five times the picture quality and ten times the sound quality of DVD, providing a powerful movie experience for all your senses

Explore a new world of entertainment

Bravia Internet Video lets you stream a wide variety of movies, TV episodes, videos and music from a large selection of entertainment apps and websites including YouTube and BBC iPlayer. Connect using an Ethernet cable or take advantage of the S370's WLAN functionality to avoid the clutter of wires - just add a Sony USB WIFI dongle.

24p True Cinema technology

With 24p True Cinema technology you can sit back and enjoy movies exactly as the director filmed them. Until now, if you watched a movie at home you'd see it played back slightly faster than at the cinema because standard TVs deliver images at 25 frames a second. Select 24p True Cinema for a more authentic movie experience.

Seems like a very good deal to me, the cheapest i can see the player e,sewher is £118 and thats without any BR discs

I got this from Amazon for 99 squid & it's a fantastic player with a wide range of extras if you connect it to your router! And it can be made region-free for regular (not Bluray) dvd's using a Harmony remote control.

Superb deal!

H&R added

WARNING. I bought the S360 with a free copy of Avatar Steelbook from Play.com.... It took 2 MONTHS for the BlueRay to arrive, dispite constantly showing stock on the website!

Great bit of kit. Received mine last Friday and have been playing with the features ever since. A nice feature is it found my Netgear NAS and allows me to play my music, films and photos too.

is it multiregion DVD playback?

Not out of the box, but can be made so with the 'All for One' remote hack. have a search on the AV Forums

Heat added, looks a good price.

I have a Sony Bravia TV and a Humax Foxsat HD PVR, which is connected to my broadband Orange livebox by an ethernet cable to access Iplayer.

How did you connect it to your network. Did you use the wireless adaptor that you have to purchase seperately or by another means?

Great price.
So tempted to upgrade my £58 Ebuyer one just for IPlayer...
Just a pity the add on wi-fi dongle is so darn expensive. Putting Cat 5 through the house to the router isn't going to go down to well...

I use a Homeplug thing - great! Would not bother with the WiFi
iPlayer is fantastic to navigate, only last 7 days though

the bluray is going for £11+ on ebay so after fee's the bluray player would only cost £90 ish.

Dont seem to be able to see a link to get Alice bluray free with the player following that link.

Tried adding it seperately and the price didnt auto update, anyone tell me how they got it to work please?

Cheers.

I think the Alice offer is suspended. It only seems to be on some Panasonics now... Note to OP.

One of the best blu-ray players around! Bought last week from Play but without the free BD

Anyway, works like a charm with my Linkstation NAS drive... no more copying avi files to USB etc... the player is able to find all media in my NAS drive. Great online features too... you can watch podcasts, iplayer, Demand5, youtube, dailymotion, LoveFilm etc. Just connected it to my router using Ethernet port... no need for wi-fi dongle.

And yes, the blu-ray movies look soooo good!!!

Just realised that the Sony player isn't multi-region for Blu-ray like the F&H one. But I REALLY want IPlayer. What a dilema...

If you buy a Powerline set, it's half the price and will work with any networked device:

hotukdeals.com/ite…apt

Just plug in one end into the wall near the Sony and the other end near the router. Then add 2 network cables from eBay. Half the price of the USB stick and more useful.

I am also not getting the DVD added to the deal - can someone advise how to get this?

Different page from this morning, free disc no longer available.
