I've been watching this for quite a few weeks now and this seems to be the cheapest it's been on Amazon, and also the cheapest I can find anywhere. Gets really good customer reviews on Amazon.

Would any of the cold voters please care to elaborate why? If you can get this cheaper I would like to know so that I too could purchase this at a better price.

Was posted earlier last month and got extremly cold. Think the reason was it was £99 at Richer Sounds.

I think i'd pay the extra £12 for … I think i'd pay the extra £12 for thishttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DMP-BD35EB-K-Profile-Blu-ray-Player/dp/B001HN6H42/

I would have to disagree on this....

I have both these models, unlike Panasonic TVs their Blu Ray players are utter rubbish, after 6 months my player refused to play ANY type of discs, got it replaced and the same thing has happended again.

I purchased the this Sony Player over Christams and I can't express in words how happy we are with it, noticable better picture, better build quality and better looking than the Panasonic.

I have both the Sony and the Panasonic too and prefer the Sony. Picture quality is much of a muchness between the two in my opinion but the usability and menu system is much better in the Sony. It just seems a much more slick piece of kit than the panny.

A 1080p Blu-Ray player?!!

Sold!

First impressions very good. Upscaling of existing DVDs excellent. Just bought Planet Earth Blu Ray can't wait to try out.
