I’ve got the old version of this, had it about 10 years and still good. Great system. Only difference I think is mine has rear wireless speakers. Main reason I bought it.

Great set of speakers, got them around this time last year for around £270 and well worth it! £100 saving now, even better!
Sweet looking system

This handles every codec on blu ray and 4k except Atmos and Dts:X so is future proof. Any alternatives in this price range youd recommend?

I was thinking exactly what you just wrote. Try getting a similarly spec'd ARC, Dolby Atmos system for £179! lol
I would buy this if only i haven't got the logitech speakers

Lol... yeah... can't justify this to my finance minister (my wife!)
I've had the older version of this for 10 or 12 years. Still going strong and as good as any budget Amp and speaker combo out there for 99% of users IMO. Shame I don't need one!! ;-p

Are the fronts wall mountable?
I have wires already run, so don't care about wireless speakers. Being able to play music etc via Bluetooth...eg a Spotify app would be a bonus.
Been on the look out for a half decent ARC system to replace my ancient LG all-in one cinema system....not enough of an audiophile to care about Atmos.

Was initially put off by the age as you know how things progress but starting to sound like this could be worth it?
Money weren't. Fronts were standalone. Centre was standalone and rears were mountable.
Had a Sony 5.1 blu ray system, didn't like how slow and loud it was. Evertime I was using it, the blu-ray players comes off course and the fan is annoying. You could hear in quiet scenes.
