Only my second post, go easy on me!

Found this is the Staines branch. Could be national.
White colour was £30 (£64 on Amazon).
Black colour was £40 (£80 on Amazon) and still a bargain.

Sound is great for such a small unit and nearly as good as my Jabra Soulmate.

This is for the white version

Is there any way you can check stock at tescos?

Only by phoning the branch

Got them on Amazon while back for £40. Neat speakers - shame they charge via AC plug rather than ever pillar mini USB. Still a great buy. Heat

Has been posted before and I also bought the white one.

This arrived the other day and acts as a reasonable case (with space for the charger too) - XL size

Might pop down and pick one up for me Julie. Staines Massive aiighhtt!

So you recommend the Solemate over this. I have searched the internet and YouTube for comparisons to no avail and can't find any shops that stock both to do a comparison before I decide on which one. Any chance you could give me a little review of both and why you prefer the Solemate? Thanks

Hot for the brand

I've had the Soulmate for about a year now and couldn't live without it. It's a bit of a heavy unit but I think that keeps it grounded for a nice deep sound, it can fill a hotel room with ease (people knock on the walls from next door!). If you're travelling soon Dixons duty free currently do it for just under £70.

The Sony is still a cracking little unit, maybe lacking a tiny bin the bass department but that's because I'm used to the soulmate. The Sony has now become my bathroom speaker (due to is water resistant qualities). In a smaller room it sounds great but might struggle a little to fill anything larger. I'll try it out in hotel room soon, always a good test for a travel speaker!

I Hope some of this helps and you manage to snap one of them up.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I managed to get the Sony one and the Jabra from Tesco in their clearance section, but didn't want to open either of them until I had found a comparison, so thanks for this. You've helped me out from eagerly staring at two boxes to be able to eventually use one. I've tested the Jabra now and I'm very happy with it :-)
