Bought this when it was £629.99 then they reduced it by another £50 the day after - phoned play and they (reluctantly) refunded the difference. Have been looking for good quality LCD TV for a while and this got good reviews on Amazon so went for it. Very pleased with it, has a multitude of inputs including HDMI and VGA. Don't know if others think it is a bargain, 32" was plenty big enough for us.

Isn't the one at Komplett the 32U2000 not the 32u2000u or are these the same thing? It seems like a good price I think it was £539 when I checked stock expected Monday - is there any vouchers for komplett or can this really be cheaper anywhere else. I am having a ding dong with John Lewis at the mo (different set), they waited till my price match sold out then said sorry they have none in stock although this was 7 days after I asked for the match. They are now 'carefully' looking at my complaint.

This looks like it's the KDL-32U2000 which as far as I know, is the same as the KDL-32U2000U and I would recommend it if you're looking for this particular size.

The Sony Bravia takes a lot of beating and the FreeView tuner in these is also excellent, if you receive a decent signal in your area.

HD is 720p and I believe you can also set it up for 1080i signal.

Thanks for the pointer by the way roobottom

as good aprice as this is, I cant help wondering how much this will be in 3 months time. Prices are so much lower than christmas time already

if you can wait, do so.

I agree that prices have come down and will continue to do so, but that is inevitable with all new technologies. Our main TV broke about 6 weeks ago, looked at cheaper ones in Woolworths etc but held out for a good quality one at a good price. Not under any illusions that these will get even cheaper but we'd waited long enough.

It is a really good TV by the way, we are very pleased with it. Just waiting for that PS3 to get to a sensible price then might get that too - might take more like six years for that to come down enough though!

We were umming and arring about upgrading to an LCD tv, then amazingly, I was lucky enough to win one of these sets - Sony Bravia KDL32U2000, just before Christmas -it's fantastic, I can't fault it at all.

PS roobottom - the PS3 looks fab on it

Thanks raggouk, we were considering the PS3 but the high price was putting us off - then completely put off by Sony doing it on the cheap and not being fully backwards compatible with PS2 games. It will have to get a lot cheaper or Sony upgrading it again before we buy.
