It kept messing up and matching with old deals which proved to be a pain.

TV shows as £749 ??

You need to add this to basket also - marksandspencer.com/Son…FBG

Discount is applied at checkout.

So the total is £702 and then you have to apply to get the vat back, does anyone know how long this takes and if Sony make life difficult getting it

Appears you have to post off for it. sony.co.uk/hub…389

It says it can take up to 28 days but they can transfer it straight into your bank.

I think they are exagerating the value of the Bluray player somewhat. It's easy to get it for £100-120.

As the TV can be had for £550 from numerous places, this deal represents a saving of ~£50 off current market price.

Good deal. Sell the blue ray for 80 - 100 on eBay and with the vat back the tv is just over £500 with 5 year guarentee

Hot. This is apparantely an extremely good tv and was voted as the third best set of 2010 under £750 by trustedreviews.

trustedreviews.com/tvs…/p1

£ 640 amazon or 668 @ rgbdirect but no 5 year guarantee (cost £136 amazon or £199 rgbdirect) so effectively you get a good TV with a nice guarantee backed by a reputable company for a discount price with a free blu ray which could make a nice Xmas present if you already have a PS3

An excellent TV for Viewing pleasure from any source SD/HD, only disappointment with this set will be for (Hardcore) gamers as even in game mode there is 60ms input lag.

-see this excelent website for a comprehensive review

seems a good deal for this TV as a 5 yr guarantee usually costs £100+ from other companies! I got a 401 for £399 though in the last deal they did, so the extra £200 for a 503 and blu-ray player..actually not sure it's a great deal lol!

All sony TV's have the vat refunded

sony.co.uk/hub…389

Rather a misleading offer IMHO

NO votes
from me either wayz

The point is the 5 year guarantee and free blu-ray player.

blu ray is out of stock... doesn't look like they are offering an alternative, so seems like the free blu ray offer has expired. shame.

Hey guys, Looks like the blu-ray player is back in stock.

Discount appears valid when you reach the payment page.

Does the vat refund still stand with this deal though? The terms state it is not valid with "packages or bundles". But I guess its neither really is it?
