Funny because, at the time of posting this, the price displayed was £299.99.. but like toibs said, you need to reserve it and then it comes as £299.99.

Stocks are very low.. both of my nearest sores are out of stock but there are others available

is it any good?

I've reserved one in Leeds - though having second thoughts about it, as it'll be used mainly for a PS3, with cable HD as a secondary - any thorough or trusted reviews on this particular model?

9.0/10 however few mentioned bad picture quality... and obviously the sound (speakers) will not be that good..

50hz no thanks

Certainly cheap but two HDMI is surprisingly economical.

2 hdmi ports is a bit tight

Good luck to those who have reserved it, but I bet when you get to the store they'll be looking for £379.99....

"Please note that the price you pay is the price in store on the day you collect your items"

Got last one reserved at my local, many thanks.

STUPID BOY read the title...

Seems like a good price- have been looking for a spare tv for the games room. Didn't want to spend more than £300 and this seems to tick all the boxes! Heat!

providing this is the 2010/2011 model i believe it to be:

the audio on these things was bad, the picture quality on them was pretty woeful

sony make like nothing of it, it might aswell be a technica or something with a sony sticker on it.. but they will sell regardless due to the sony name, have only ever really seen the BX series up to around 22" though i know they made them bigger, its old and at this money there is plenty i would rather have for the same price or a touch more

the connectivity alludes to its quality

Beware this tv suffers from an inheriant panel fault, that often occurs after 18 to 24 months.

fair enough if you know the picture to be bad, but the connectivity options don't have anything to do with it. If I knew the picture to be great, I wouldn't care if it had 1 or 3 HDMIs for this price.

how long is the warranty?

50hz is better for gaming than 100hz

Also 8w speakers, surprisingly economical as you put it:)
I remember a few years ago when even a 32" Toshiba had 2x15W speakers... "improvements" are being made constantly.

They are selling them on ebay argos compare.ebay.co.uk/lik…pla for £299 but it says referblished so beware.
