Damn beat me to it.

Cracking Price!!!!

Hot for the price (I had one bought 1.5 years ago) but ...

I cant stress enough the 3D is useless after the first 3 months! My 3D glasses has been inside the drawer ever since!

Sorry mate
Same thing happened to me yesterday

Tis a great price, but don't expect great customer service or speedy delivery from M&S. Also, I personally wouldn't rely too much on that 5 year warranty should you have to claim.

Glasses are not included and expensive

ordered, thanks, anyone know where to get cheap glasses?

What's such a large screen like on SD?

Agreed. The glasses are expensive, but most other places will sell them separately also and not part of the TV package

Amazon wanting £640 and Currys wanting £699 for the same TV with no glasses and no warranty

I guess you can go with John Lewis Price Match?

Buy this tele first from M&S for failsafe, then ring up John Lewis for price match and see if they honour it?
If JL honour the price, then cancel M&S

5 Year Guarantee from JL is MUCH better!

Thanks for this, just ordered (missed out on the last SONY deal of the day!)

Damn you HUKD's! Just ordered, great price with a 5 year warranty.

Hot deal for a 46" 3D LED Sony TV

what's the SD and HD picture quality like on this ?

Will jl price match amazon prices? I only want the sony 32 3d smart tv that's £289.99 at amazon.

From a quick Google, doesn't seem to be amazing.

But a 46" Sony for £449 is a bargain.

Smoking deal!!!

damn, bought one of these last December, really nice SD & HD pic, never tried 3d.

only bad things:
Watching movies from USB/DLNA is really hit or miss lots of codecs unsupported.
Also can't set it to always start from HDMI input

Awesome deal! If only I hadnt purchased the 40" last month:(

Got one a while back with a friends staff discount @ £430, so this is a great price!

Gone for this.

It seems that if you accept it for what it is and don't expect amazing 3D performance (I won't use this) then it's a great TV. For £450 (minus £22.50 Quidco) it's hard to go wrong at this price.

These guys offer very thorough reviews and they recommend it: hdtvtest.co.uk/new…htm

Latest firmware seems to have fixed the awful 3D problems (crosstalk, ghosting), so the 3D is acceptable on this TV now. This is a great price. I also like the TrackID feature, just like having Soundhound or Shazam music recognition built in to the TV. Has to be connected to the Internet to work though. Also supports Skype if you buy Sony's expensive Skype camera.

My parents have the 32" model and have great trouble getting the audio levels to stay the same between channels. They have a Humax FoxSat HDR, when they change from an SD channel to a HD channel the volume levels change massively. Only happens on this TV, didn't happen on their old one. So they're always having to change the volume levels, I've been all through the audio settings on the TV and tried everything I can think of and it doesn't make a difference. The picture and audio out of the box are terrible, once you tweak them, they're pretty good.

Obviously this is the old model, the new model has wifi built in I believe. If your router is far away from the TV you can either use homeplugs or setup an access point connected to the TV to provide wifi (or setup an old router as an access point). Both options are cheaper than Sony's expensive wifi dongle.

I really would like this TV, I've just paid nearly £5K off two credit cards in 18 months. Ah well that's what credit cards are for, screw the banks, keep borrowing :P Oh wait that's what they want

No quidco on tv's

That's a cracking price for the spec! If I hadn't of splashed out on my Toshiba a month back I'd have definitely gone for this.

I got the earlier release of this model (46-EX703) a couple of years ago, which I find is a great TV set, and great picture and sound. The GUI is a little laggy - mainly from initial power on.

At this price + warranty this is HOT!.

Thanks, ordered!

what's it like playing films via usb?

Just exchanged my 40EX723 for this larger one.

Would buy, but due to previous HUKD deals the available balance on my credit card is now £6.46

If JL stocked it.....They used to but it's no longer on their website. What are the issues with M&S warranties?

John Lewis dont stock this model according to customer services

I've read a few reviews and I think the general consensus is that the 3D is not amazing (maybe better now the firmware upgrade mentioned by fishmaster above), but otherwise SD/HD content is great.

Wish I could justify buying this myself

46 inch Sony 3D for under £450 is a stonking deal - it won't last long!

Probably until the end of the day

Fantastic deal!. I have the 55" Model and it is totally ace.

Great deal, thanks for the heads up - bought

Anyone know where to get a cheap low profile wall mount for one of these?

Thanks MAN!!!!! Ordered one for my dad. He will be well chuffed

Had a 40in tv delivered to my house from marks ands Spencer's 2 weeks ago how easy is it to return so I can get this deal
