Is this the one you are referring to ?

Totally different links and if you read through the description, they certainly dont seem to be the same!

BE careful with these. The viewing angles are terrible so unless your sofas are pretty much straight on to the TV you wont see much. Also notice how they are displayed in the shop in a darkened corner. It may be quite hard to recreate those conditions in your lounge.

I bought a Samsung 50Inch plasma for £80 more from Currys when they had various vouchers a month ago..... That seems a better deal than this rear projection.....

I have a rear projector, and I would advise against buying one.
The viewing angle is limited.
But after about a year or so the mirror starts to get covered with dust.
This darkens the picture and blobs of discolouration appear on the screen as out-of-focus dust blocks either the red, green or blue images.

Generalisation - my 50" Sagem is awesome !!

I agree with 5757alan - I have this Sony, and have had it for about two years. The picture is excellent (especially HD picture). Viewing angle is good too. Great TV.

I've had 2 sony RPTV's and both have been great - the viewing angles are not bad at all and the telly's good for the price, however, if I were paying £700 for an RPTV today, I'd look at Samsung 50" plasmas...
