I cant wait for their new models. Hopefully they ditch that horrific stand.
65" is £1499, also with the same soundbar offer which is the cheapest I've ever seen it.
Such a good deal, wish I didn’t get the lg c9 last month and waited for this!

no you don't
That's a great deal. Could probably get £250 for the soundbar if you didnt want it.

Bummer, missed that, surprised its still advertised. Cracking price regardless, on par with JL deal but an extra year warrenty. Thank you for highlighting.
yeah that caught me as well the free soundbar till i called them and realised it had passed. don't think its very fair since the free soundbar offer is still there for another sony tv. seems abit suspect why not just have the offer finish at the same time.

so do i get this model or just go for last years at £899 plus another discount via ebay

What's the viewing angles on this like?
richer sounds don't like to price match do they even though they claim they will ( my expierience as of today) , two deals today and they refused.

They refused me an lg because they couldnt see the price i was talking about despite telling them where to go and the claimed they where looking at the page i was they claimed they where cheaper plus if its not got a 6 year warranty they wouldnt match anyways.

Then i called about the sony with free the soundbar they refused to match another store because they said they don't do the soundbar promo as it was a sony thing yet they are giving said soundbar away with another sony tv on the site as wee speak.

Needless to say they have lost a sale, not exactly a good experience , i wonder what attitude i'd get if somthing actually went wrong with the tv.

Genuinely never had an issue, they have a great rep for service. They'll price match if the warranty is similar. If you show them a something with 1 year and they offer you 6 years they may meet you somewhere between but you can't really dispute that they won't go all the way down.

I bought a Samsung q85r from them and they matched my employee perks program price no issue.
John Lewis have pricematched this and the 65" model now. Shorter warranty but a longer interest free period
this is an actual black Friday deal.
People don't realise that many of the budget TVs are built for discounts and black Friday so even a 400£ drop doesn't make them worth it. Manufacturers cutting corners everywhere to make profits.

I went to Currys to look for a TV around 700£ but the colours and the picture of this TV were soo brilliant had to get it. I think the X1 ultimate processor really worth it for this price.

Even EastEnders looks like a Hollywood blockbuster

There is a big difference in the processor. This one uses the x1 ultimate which almost twice as strong than last year's models. I think it's worth the 100£ extra.
just a heads uo TPS does this for £995 incl deliverey +Tv bracket/and fixing + 7 years warranty+ netflix free for 6 months Sony KD55XG9505BU 55-inch 4K HDR LED TV.
perhaps it warrants a separate deal posting.its impressive enough

p.s: those who cn collect from store can claim a £30 discount making it £965.

X1 ultimate is the best in the market. No other manufacturer can touch its upscaling quality
Can confirm this TV is incredible. Ended up picking it up after posting this. Great colours, great handling of HDR, the android UI is responsive. Motion is amazing and great shadow details since it doesn't crush them. Barely any blooming as well, only seen it in the subtitles, even then it was mild, and when it's at the subtitles who cares?

Sony has best natural colours hands down. People who want fake over vibrant colours go for Samsung.

One of my "friend" downloaded some movies like hdrip+Chinese burnt sub etc... But what the tv does with the picture is insane. It's like cinema quality, the resolution the colours everything.

4k is beautiful anyway but the strength of this processor really comes out with lower quality video formats.
Currys have also price matched, but why you'd ever give them your business when there are alternatives, I don't know.

And don't forget to claim your free film! sony.co.uk/imax

I wouldn't have got it if I didn't see it in live. I have 3 TV's, the others are a Panasonic mid range 4k 40inch and a budget LG hd 32inch with hrd10. I thought the lg's colours were good but after the Sony it looks garbage, don't even want to compare the Panasonic.

Toy story 4 4k colours were out of this world on this TV.

Yeah I was hesitant. Once I got it home though it blew my mind and I instantly didn't regret not going oled. If your budget can stretch its worth it.
Cheers guys, I couldn't resist any longer. It just sounds too good! Ordered for £994 using TV20 code plus one day delivery so it's still under that magic 1000 quid mark. Can't wait to try it tomorrow, it's my first 4K TV :-)
Dammit, I got an email from Richer Sounds saying the delivery will be delayed by one day :-\ Was all geared up for it arriving today but now I have to wait... Still, they've refunded the £15 next day delivery charge so it's not all bad!
Want the 65 inch of this so bad...
