Good price for the curved version of the XD80, although as always at this price the HDR ability is minimal.

What's this x-reality pro?? Does this make SD look HD and HD look 4K?? I know it won't be better then if those were made in that quality but still it sounds impressive. I'm after a good SD to HD as the SD channels currently look way to pixelated on my current tv.

I got this tv last Saturday as a stop gap till sonys a1 oled comes out. it's really good in every way.it only got released in September 2016. The picture quality really good. Kodi works a treat on it too and the PS4 really good. It's still retails at £1200 on sonys website.

Damn, added this to my basket earlier and now just came back to order it and they're all gone.

It's just a marketing term for some form of image processing. Which one doesn't matter a great deal as manufacturers are often not consistent in their use of the terms anyway.

Sony do seem to be pretty good in that area, although it's really something you have to decide on for yourself. I don't think any of the 4K TVs do a really good job with SD channels yet, there isn't the years of refinement the Full HD scalers have had.
