If it includes 6 year Guarrantee, otherwise original price of $645 with RicherSounds might be a better option

That site is a joke. It's very clear they've never touched one and their "review" is just a summary of the spec with a stock photo.

Just an example - it isn't the only mediocre review of this model.

SCART is a combo plug capable of carrying Component, S-video and Composite signals.

And as richwest says those aren't reviews, they're auto-generated pages to get search hits and earn money from advertising. They're entirely worthless.

The phrase '10-bit TV' can have several meanings so you need to be more precise.

This TV accepts 10-bit HDR signals, doesn't have much HDR reproduction ability and doesn't have a 10-bit panel (as you'd expect, it's only a very minor improvement found on top of the TVs that can afford to include everything).

It’s not an LG!

I bought this model from Richer sounds with 6 year gaurantee . Very pleased with it lovely picture particuarly when on 4k feeds. Hd and blu ray also very good. Doesnt have scart socket mentioned earlier.

Correct no scart:richersounds.com/son…tml

That’s hot. Isn’t the 7073 a better choice at the same price? Been watching these for a month now, ideally waiting for the 65 inch to drop slightly lower than what’s advertised around nowadays.

That depends on which colour of bezel you prefer.

50hz meh

7002 seem to be advertised as 100 MHz and the 7073 as 400! Unless the information isn’t legit!

Not as good as the lg750v mentioned by any stretch.

I also have £100 currys voucher how can I use it when I buy it online guys ?

Nothing wrong with scart, still able to run component cables and still be able plug in the Snes n Megadrive

I notice this TV and a few other cheap Sony's seem to use Opera instead of Android?! I have Android on my current TV and it seems fine, does anyone know how that compares to Opera?

Not a good deal at all i got 55inch Sony Android 4k TV through this app from Amazon for £500 and that is the best. This has not got android and specs are weaker then my £500 tv. best to wait for Black Friday

Sorry but cold vote

Surely it would depend on the type of signal needed as scart can't carry a HD signal where as component can up to 1080

Please do not bring your own opinion as well known fact.

It is only 50hz, how would that perform when it comes to football?

I bought a SNES mini recently which is 16bit. It will blow your mind and is much cheaper!

All (I think) TV's are native at 50hz - it's the processing which gives it the higher range I.E This set is 100hz.

Given that all football is broadcast in 50fps it's other things that have the biggest impact. Sony are usually one of the better makes with motion though, so it's a good bet.

That would be 'motionflow 100hz/400hz' which I believe are just a different set of settings for the motion interpolation feature rather than different hardware. Although Sony do bundle several technologies under that marketing label so until someone does an exact comparison it's hard to say for certain.

This one has fewer apps, I believe it's lacking ITV Hub and All4.

I’ve just purchased this tv and it will be delivered tomorrow from John Lewis and comes with a 5 year warranty.
i originally purchased a Hisense N6800 from Richer Sounds but after replacing 3 times due to various issues (1x severe horizontal banding, 1x severe vertical banding & clouding and 1x backlight bleed) Richer Sounds online customer service refused to allow any other purchases and once the Hisense is picked up stated via email not to make anymore purchases through their online sight again.
i called them to confirm this and they said any orders I place online will be declined and refunded due to the incurred costs that 3 returns had accumulated and they can’t afford to do this anymore.
I would steer clear of Richer Sounds as their customer service is great while everything is working in their favour but if like me you unfortunately get a few issues your unwilling to accept then they spit their dummy out and refuse to do business it’s shocking !!!

as for the Stv I hope it’s better than the Hisense as they are using some atrociously bad class B VA panels. Personally I think this how they are saving money to hit the price point below the well known brands.

£674.10? Showing as £749 now

Still available for £589 from rgb direct I've had this tv for a week and I'm pleased with the picture in 4k, 1080p and sd. It's a good step up from my old '40 lcd sony I've had for 7 years.

You really should lower your expectations at this price point.

You could spend upto £3k and have a TV with banding issues/bleed/clouding. Also, lowering the Backlight will mitigate issues such as clouding and bleed for when you receive your new Sony - chances you’ll have similar issues.

But honesty, you can’t expect Richer to keep allowing you exchange your TV’s indefinitely at £700 a time. In my opinion they’ve been perfectly reasonable with you.

The Hisense TVs are really bad and to be honest are not worth £700. I’m not expecting a perfect tv but I’ve seen less uniformity issues on £350 Polaroid TVs from Asda. the settings were nothing excessive (backlight was at 30 out of 100). The clouding was that bad that it could be seen in daytime viewing.
i know the Sony will not be perfect but it’s got to better than Hisense were, even richer sounds admitted the issues were more severe than expected but still refused to exchange again. You can’t have it both ways admitting there is an issue and spitting your dummy out and saying no more !!!
Have a look at the pics and say it’s acceptable for £700, I think very few would accept it

Samsung TV, have no LG at home.

It's actually hilarious that all dealers have raised their prices to the RRP in anticipation of Black Friday when I assume they will reduce their prices back down to the pre-Black Friday prices.
