Looks good for the money although was hoping for the silver bezel/ that the xe7073 would drop a bit more.

Yeah can't make up my mind between this and Panasonic 58EX700B... Any reviews for Panasonic 58EX700B.. found one for EX but not for DX .... like the one provided by nw104hh for Sony

Damn, that's tempting!

I think I will go for this one and add 5 year damage cover. I don't see any other store offering this.

iv got two price matches with JL from the last few days that i cant decide between the Sony KD55XE7073 for £585 and the Samsung UE55MU6400 for £569. its looking like the deals today may be worse than whats been available in the run up so probably going to pick from them, has anyone got any strong opinions to help me choose or should i just flip a coin. Any advice is appreciated, im tired of having 10+ tabs of tv prices/reviews open in chrome everyday and just want to make a purchase

I'm in exactly the same situation. Had option of the 469 55 Samsung from game last night but looked big and old tech style.
The Panasonic 58 I think I will order. Looks awesome. Freebies play which I like and 58.
Kicking myself for missing the John Lewis Samsung and free soundboard as was exceptional TV by comparison to these

Good quality tv.

Who did you price match the 7073 with for £585?

Matched the 7073 when Currys had it eligible for a 10% code at the start of the week

i wasn't sure if they would but saw that they were advertising that they would match promotions during black friday week so figured id try just stated in the comments box that it was a code advertised on the site. They have actually been really good with price matches for me this week, the samsung was a co-op with a code and i put in 2 requests because the first promo code had ended that morning so was sure it would be declined and had found a different code 10 minutes later and they got back to me in just over an hour and actually accepted both.

KD55XE7003 only gets 56% on which whereas UE55MU6400 69%.

I went for the Panasonic 58" tv deal in John Lewis.

I'm kicking myself too! Mate works at curry's and told me to wait 😑

Is this better than the LG 55uj635v?

Are these instore or online only?

If it helps those looking for the 55xe7073, JL have price matched Co Op at £589 with code BF60

How would this handle ps4 pro and xbox one x?

Still weekend and Monday see what else comes up. I have a reminder email.on JL if package comes back in

Go for the panasonic, way better pic quality

If it’s anything like my 2016 model the android os is very very very slow and buggy. You view sounds great on paper put is poorly implemented. I have to regularly reboot mine.

Would not recommend a Sony.

What was the Samsung offer at JL? I've been so caught up in OLED that I've missed/ignored a lot of other good deals. Now I've come back down to earth a bit and realised 1.3k is still probably too much for a TV haha

I had price matched with co-op electrical when they had it at £629 with a £60 discount code available on top but they have put the price up to £699 now.
