Been looking at TV’s for days, For the spec and size this seems like a great tv. I currently have the 49” 3D 4k toshiba that was a steal a while back @£399, it is a fab tv and if i could find a larger one with HDR etc i would go for it.
We as a family just feel like when we upgraded from a 48” samsung 3D HD to 49” 4kHD the picture etc is fab but we want bigger lol.
I have a 48 & 49” 3D tv in the house we used the 3D just to check it out on both and have never used since so i really can’t see the point in us forking out extra for 3D.

Although at Currys it’s not the cheapest place using code TV10 down to £1799.10 they are also offering a price match, so i have printed off a screen shot of John Lewis £1799 & Cooperative Electrical £1698.99 (£1798.99 + £100 off tv over £1000 code TV100) to see if they will match either of the prices before the 10% is applied then apply the 10% code or the other way etc.
So if anyone has experience of this with overlapping their offers with price matches let me know.

I will be driving from norwich to cambridge just to be able to get my tv today, I’m too impatient to wait until monday as i will be too busy in the week to set up, i want saturday night cinema lol.

John Lewis used to price match for up to 14 days after a purchase. Just give customer service a ring and they should refund. Good luck.
It's very unlikely they'll give you price match and then give 10% off on top; however it's worth a try.

When they turn you down, you'd be better getting it from JL for the 5 year warranty and better customer service.

one at Jl is £1799 JL link unless you have the 3D version coming. But if you either call, email ,or what i find best if you have Facebook, then contact JL and tell them about the Cooperative price with the £100 off voucher they should be happy to refund the difference.

This does come with 5 year warranty/guarantee although yes JL CS is better I'd probably not be able to pick up today =)

Currys are now doing 5 year warranties on big Sony TVs (presumably Sony are footing the bill). I have the 55" version of this TV. It is great out of the box and exceptional when set up professionally (all the hue/tint etc settings). My only gripe is that occasionally it forgets the integration with my AV amp. Turning Sky on with the Sky remote usually turns on the TV, amp and Sky, but occasionally (once a week) the amp doesn't come on. Redoing the TV set up (takes about 90 seconds) cures the cross talk.
I cant find the tv on co op electrical?
Cooperative Electrical £1698.99 (£1798.99 + £100 off tv over £1000 code TV100

Only: KD65SD model?
Weird.... I couldnt find it even when i copied in the model number "/
Looking at the one on JL compared to currys
They are slightly different models, one has 800hz the other 1000hz (i think the currys one is 1khz)
I was going to get my friend to use his 12% staff discount but the currys model is better?

now 1999 on john lewis, currys only price match to selected companies (coop not one of them) they did take off 199 for me on saturday. So if going currys still best to use code tv10 which i think expires on wednesday.
the tv was out of the box and mounted on the wall & set up in 10 minutes.
It's amazing... watching movies gets you so drawn in as you forget the rest of the room. Ofc picture quality is great (as it should be) its so thin and light for its size. the back is lovely and flat which made fitting our current wall mount to it a piece of cake (my last tv had irregular depth and had to use spacers etc to make level) we covered coffee table in rug and fleece & left cardboard screen cover on while fitting bracket. its defo a two person job as being so thin theres a bit of flex when moving & mounting. only one annoyance is likely personal to me that the power cable isnt that long and is on the right side of tv (my plug socket is on left and barely reaches the socket, so its a bit strained and i'll have to buy an extension. This also has an optical out which i dont think is listed on currys website, another bonus as my last tv was plugged into the stereo via earphone jack.

yup it is all posted here links for both. I chose currys because I wanted to pick up the tv that day and hoped thatd price match to co-op. but they didnt

on the other hand I have access to employee benefits which get us 8% off currys so I only lost a few quid for the benefit of getting it that day
this tv is amazing btw. we've been watching movies and you completely forget the rest of the room. eyes can't really for anything else in
