32" is for compact rooms now? im still rockin at 14" ALBA CRT in the kitchen.

I'm just going to agree with you without going into the facts, as I always seem to get the 1080p brigade firing all guns in my direction...

For those with a genuine need for 1080p at this size (for example, doubling up as a PC monitor), this is a rather nice set for under £285 -

Good enough for a budget branded TV although I'm sure someone will point out Sony don't make these or similar

true, 1080p can be an advantage or disadvantage......more to move and will look rubbish if the spec is poor

No I was referring to 230 @Play.com which is now out of stock

They have 6 of these (at the time of posting) at Amazon Warehouse for £187 to £197 - all customer returns so a bit of a risk.....
