Why would you want 720p in 2017? And holy crap this is thr first time i saw a non 4k hdr TV. Actually why does this tv exist at all? It make no sense

Guys saw this morning don't know if its already been posted. Sorry if it has been and seems like a great tv.
Can't find the link now but I think this was down to £259 on Amazon last week.

Sorry but freezing! £300 for a 32" tv that cant even display 1080p (its a 720p model hence the hd ready). My 55" 4k set cost £50 more this this last year! It isnt a Sony, but increasingly even the big name ones use other parts especially at the low end of their range like this.

Sorry but i cannot see any justification for buying a 720p hd ready set in 2017, especially at £300....
HD ready only (720p), think it's weird that they didn't write 720p or 1080p so I looked at other sites and some say it's 1080p and others 720p so I trust Amazon not to put the details in because it's the latter. Maybe the newer model has 1080p but doubtful as the model number suggest it was first available 2015, not 2017 like Amazon says and I'm sure Sony would be selling it if it were new and it would have a different model number.

I'm guessing the panel isn't 10bit, making the HDR a bit pointless.
Does 720p matter at 32" if it comes with HDR? Serious question, can someone recommend a decent 1080p 32" for £300. Last year's Sony KDL32WD751 or Samsung m5500 perhaps?
