Already stated HD ready so yes, must admit thought not full HD in 2019 is poor.

If you want a small TV, for a spare room, a bigger TV will not help you at all. I needed a 32 inch and there were plenty bigger ones at the same price or even less, but that did not mean it was better value, I did not have the space for it.

£150 extra does not means it is a bargain, it is almost double the price of this. But yes, you can find 32 inch full HD at this price.
I can highly recommend this tv if people are looking for 32”

Full HD but only if you get a decent brand, such as LG, Sony, Samsung. You will regret if you get a JVC, Toshiba, Sharp, Philips Polaroid, etc, full HD, this will be better.
The ones I've mentioned were good brands, and Samsung and LG were well behind. Not anymore. Most, if not all of them are Vestel and the built quality is not that good. This one is HDR, so it is not bad even if it is HD ready, as it is only 32 inch. The price is not bad for a Sony, but ive heard some Sony TVs do not have all the freeview channels. However, you can get a decent brand full HD for this price.

I second that, its a great tv full 1080p as well. Amazon one listed above in picture is not the same tv just for info its model (32LM630BPLA not 32LM6300PLA) Regards

Unless you're sat close to the TV, most people will struggle to notice the difference between 720 and 1080p on a 32inch TV

I've mentioned this before and people disagreed. I had a 10 years old cheap Accoustic Solutions, made by Vested, was not full HD, but the image was better than the replacement, which was JVC and Toshiba full HD. I believe you can make a difference in between 4k and HD ready, but IMO, at this size, the difference in between full HD and HD ready is not that obvious.
Had a Sony 26 inch HD Ready TV for years was really happy with it.

then got a Samsung 32 inch full HD tv the difference is night and day clearer i sit fairly close though around 6 foot away.

I use as a computer monitor as well and it was poor on the Sony but crystal clear on the Sammy...

but TV Tech is always improving year on year though.

just my 2 pence worth.
Tbh aslong as it's made by Sony and not vestel , this will be a perfect for watching freeview sd and hd something the current range of 4k, oled etc.are terrible at

Anyone know if this has the Apple TV app on it?

Looking at the Samsung UE32N5300 which does. There doesn’t seem to be many of the 32” TVs that have it.

720p, this shouldn't even exist in 2019!

Partners computer screen packed up and was happy to downsize to 32" screen when seeing most cheap ones were only HD thought so old tech and with Ebay offering 10% of last week bought the Hisense 43UHD on Argos Ebay set for £251 and sitting two to three feet away HD channels look great as they say seem to pop out at you, a definite better buy than the old school tv's.
You gotta laugh at some of the ridiculous questions people ask about products on Amazon

Is this a good tv for watching Emmerdale ?
Does anyone know if this has the amazon prime app please? Can’t seem to find it anywhere online

Only Samsung have ATV app for now.

And just about every manufacturer has a nicer interface to use than Sony, it's a god awful mess.

Thanks. Much appreciated.
Seems like an odd combo to me 720p & HDR. Like if you’re wanting to watch HDR would you do it on that resolution. We have an old Sony 32” 720p/1080i in the kitchen that’s great for what we use it for, but HDR on something similar
Not a good deal
Good deal, but does it have YouTube?
Can only find for £256??
"enjoy a great entertainment experience with pictures enhanced close to Full HD"

We're nearly in 2020 and there's 8k TV emerging but there's guys building 720p Tv's?
I assume that being Sony, it'll be Android TV. If so, it can get in the sea. Buy something, anything else.

If you go for the LG tv I’ve posted then I can confirm it has Amazon Prime App. It’s a much better Tv than the original post in my opinion.
My virgin media tivo box only outputs at 720.
720p in 2019... Who is voting this hot?
