Doesn't say much for the rest then. Sony make Smart TV's that can't be updated to have Netflix if they're pre-2012 models, like this one.

A good price for a 40" TV though
Currently only 7 available though in total in the whole of England & Scotland ( 1 in each of 7 different stores).

Given that my last two EX723's have had stuck pixels, I'm not sure I'd agree!

I bought my Samsung A686 from their before. Top notch service as per usual from these lot. Bargain for this TV.
Well i have the 46" version and it's first class for 2D, as for 3D don't bother with it to be honest but the lack of netflix is a pain in the rear.

1080p .... HD Ready

someone doesn't understand the meaning of these phrases...

anyway, very good price for a decent TV, however the 3D on it should never be used. THE worst 3D I've ever witnessed. The internet features are lacking compared to new 2012 models, however the new Sony HX753 (closest comparable model) is significantly more expensive. for picture quality the EX653 is comparable and has the WiFi and internet TV features built in, but its still more expensive.

if you just want a good quality 2D Full HD LED TV for a reasonable price this is well worth a look.

Couldn't disagree more.
I bought a Sony 40" LCD this year, and it's the slowest TV I've ever owned.

If you turn it on but it's on the wrong HDMI channel, you have to wait for about 30 seconds before it'll let you bring up the menu to change to the right HDMI channel. Seriously, a TV which takes half a minute to "boot up" ? Really ?

The worst purchase I've made.
Bravia - always a good range if you can get a decent price

Sorry, but where does it say that it's ex-display? It's described as 'clearance' in the deal header & in the deal description. A lot of stores have clearance sales ( Debenhams, for example), i'm pretty sure they're for new products.
i bought the 32 inch version of this and the 3D was terrible but the tv itself on 2D or gaming was unbelievable thats why im now getting the one without 3D and the 2012 model.

The 3D issues were fixed via a software update several months ago so don't let the reviews put you off. It is a fine TV - especially so at this price.
Nice deal I guess !
any one know if this deal is still on?
