I'm waiting for Black Friday to get a TV. I don't want to buy one now and then regret it after two weeks
same tv £341 argos with code TVS10 argos.co.uk/pro…704 and £351 with now tv box
Just as a heads up, Amazon is matching Costco in case you don’t have Prime etc. Heat added.

Good deal, nice to see a "smaller" TV on a deal!
Good promos in the drop down bar . £150 off when bought together. Sony HT-NT5 400 W Sound Bar with High-Resolution Audio, Wireless Surround and 4K Pass-Through

Question for the gurus: if I am after a medium-sized screen (40-43 inches), am i not better off with a 43 inch Hisense with HDR and 4k for similar price?
I only need it for general watching, like a Bluray documentary or movie.

HDR at that price range doesn't really add much. It just means the set can pass an HDR signal, those budget models generally don't have the contrast, wide colour gamut etc. for a good HDR experience.

So the main factor is whether you'd get use out of 4k or not. As you mention blu-ray watching, the Hisense would probably be a better choice for you. Generally best to buy from Richer Sounds or John Lewis to get a long warranty included, as a surprising number of TVs seem to fail early (anecdotally in the experience of people I know at least).

My father in law had this tv but an older model in 2014/15 and it is incredible. I have the Hisense M3300 and am loving the 4k but really not happy with the 1080p for Sky Q. His tv is far superior.

new code for this tv at argos TV10 this tv £341 with free £10 voucher

How does he get it to £299 🤔. Thanks though will probably order soon. I take it this will be good enough for bedroom for Xbox one? Or am I better going for 4K model? My little boy is only 5 so he would even know the difference x

It does, but you only get 12 months warranty with Argos. For an extra £28.99 you get 5 years with Amazon...

Which reviewed this one back in May and gave it a slating, commenting it had poor sound, bad motion handling and sluggish navigation. (46%).
amazon.co.uk/dp/…h=1 This is the Smart version on Amazon for £10 more. Is that considered better or is having the smart function only worth £10?
I understand this is slightly off track but I would also like to know of some good suggestions for a TV around this size please. Waiting for Black Friday seems a plan but I can't keep up with the technology and what is relevant to the basic consumer, I don't know what I want so won't know the deal when I see it! I only really need it to watch TV, films, bluray as not much of a gamer but the niece and nephew may end up needing to hook something up. Ideally a little future proof?!
