Better than the Tesco in-store deal.
Currys also have this in stock for £549.00 for a price-match request if you have workplace benefits - I get 8% so it could make this 367.08. Crazy!
Marketing blurb:
John Lewis have this in stock with 5 year guarantee included so maybe worth a price-match request? Won't - thanks caverncity!

After viewing most of the 4k sets live -- 1080p ones are better unless you're spending 1000+
Coz its not 4k...
Heat
In many cases a tv like this is far superior than buying a 4k tv that rarely gets 4k content

Ironically this has one of the widest colour gamuts on the market, up there with Samsung's QLED series.
Although it is IPS and lacks a local dimming system, so the contrast isn't brilliant.
No, only the XE80 and above are Android.
Any reviews for the model pls?
There's one in Polish here:

This is a great deal!!!
So it wouldn't support hdr from pc? I'm confused.
Out of the 8 TVs I had in my Amazon basket this morning, this is the only one that has dropped in price. Seems that 1080p sets aren't black Friday fodder. Shame.
Coz its not 4k...
That would depend on the source. Netflix broadcasts and other video probably not due to the lack of HDCP 2.2, but it may support gaming. Although given that a wide colour gamut causes issues with many programs It may be that Freesync 2/G-sync HDR will become the way to go once PC HDR gets going in a couple of years.
I believe it will not be able to handshake (connect) if your PC requires HDCP 2.2. If this is the case you will need a HDCP 2.2 to 1.4 like this.
Probably @EndlessWaves can verify, I believe that if available, down-scaling to HDCP 1.4 (usually 1080p) should solve this without losing HDR (Source1 Source2). It would seem that being a feature usually connected with 4K, media devices don't always advertise 1080p HDR capabilities, but xBox, PS4 and Netflix appear to have confirmed they do.

It's a perfect match for 1080p 60fps HDR gaming on the PS4 Pro.
55£ for 3 years breakdown cover tho
I do have a PS4 Pro... I'm trying to resist buying this, else I'll have more TVs than rooms to put them in
Thats actually expensive its half that in USA.
Sony's sound seems to have gone to pot past few years, perhaps so they can sell sound bars. Samsungs are still ok.
couldnt be further from a perfect match for ps4 pro
1 its not 4k
2 it can accept a HDR signal but cant fully display it as its not 10bit
It does not need to be 10bit to display hdr and I never said it was 4k.
it needs to be 10 bit to display true HDR a 8 bit set will just mimic it the best it can
you said a perfect match for ps4 pro
a perfect match would be a 10 bit 4k tv that can display true HDR
Ive got a 4K monitor plugged into my PC and rarely ever, ever watch any 4K content, good for gaming, still little worthwhile 4K film and TV. 99 percent of the stuff I watch in the living room doesn't have a 4K option; much rather buy a bigger/nicer 1080p screen ATM than less superior 4K one.
Cause 4K Toshiba 50 inch is going for £299
I said "a perfect match for 1080p 60fps hdr"
Learn to read please.
Yes it is.
Yes but clearly it wasn’t the triluminous 400hz plus model? Prob the xd70 or something.
an higher end 1080p will be a better picture than a £350 4k tv
i know as have a top of the range sony w95 (1080p) and a samsung ks9000 (4k ultra hd)
if you havent got sky q or a blur ray uhd i wouldnt both with 4k to be honest
not sure of the qualtity of the sony on offer here
but my 1080p knocks socks off many entry level and nid level 4k tvs and thats 3.5 years old
