Where myself and Mrs Mugabe are from these are " cutting edge ".

Good to see you're introducing the latest technology into Zimbabwe Robert.

It was clearly meant as a joke....get a sense of humour. :whistling:

Voted Cold (not really - One day you may get one of these miraculous contraptions on to the front page!)

Hilarious. Hilarious product, hilarious user name. Whatever next, a wireless, posted by member Adolf_Hitler perhaps.

What a waste of internet.

if it was solid state I would buy it

Does this support drag and drop?

this is great. will go a treat with my bumbag and polo neck top

What's a cassette?

Can't believe I spent close to £100 years ago on a slimline one with magnesium/alloy case.

Isn't that £19/19/9 1/2d (ish)?

The only thing that would be colder than this would be a Jedward t-shirt you can pre-order from Littlewoods with a voucher code.

...and free if England win the World Cup

There is actually quite a lot of 'indie' cool in cassettes at the moment. I've seen quite a few bands putting things out on cassette and oldschool original walkmans are increasing in price on ebay all the time. Not sure how cool a brand new one would be though. There was even a band put a track out on wax cylinder last month which came with a DIY guide to building the machine to play it on!

Cold. £15.99 at Argos

They obviously don't want anyone to hear what they've recorded.

I think its wax cylinder or download only. CDs are the real dead format.

Don't be ridiculous! You don't use Dobbly on rock music.

you'll have to look (can't be @rsed). but there are others, plus packs of cassettes!

I used to select the chrome position even when it wasn't a chrome tape! I've always been a bit of a rebel me.

Soft eject? Also will it load the games on my new spectrum ok?

I'd pay an extra tenner if they used bright orange headphone sponges

Yea good shout about the speccy and orange sponges . It was tough getting your 80's hair that your mum cut constantly caught up in the adjustable headset .

Has it got auto reverse or that fancy system that can FF/REW to the gap between tracks?
