I have this radio.....
The good.... it has an extremely sensitive receiver, probably the strongest i've had on all the DAB radios i've bought. So its recommended if you live in a poor reception area.
The bad.... The sound, its very poor and tinny.

what outputs does it have on the back?

if you mean power output, its a paltry 300mw.
The only socket outlets, is headphone socket on the side and DC mains also on the side.

Yes.

Same price at argo

Or £22.79 for a Used - Like New on Amazon Warehouse Deals

Personally, i wouldn't buy this radio again, due to the crap sound quality.
Better off paying the extra for the newer model of this radio, the XDRS41..... it has twice the power, has an alarm and supposedly is better on battery life as well.

Paid £13 for this in my local Tesco

This radio has very tinny sound for a Sony not good at all

Stopped listening to DAB when Talksport turned into a Government brainwashing channel. Podcasts only now.

This is a terrible Sony product, mono sound, tinny speaker, mine regularly goes from 100% signal to 0% signal for no apparent reason (must be faulty now). Only worth it to listen to speech based services like Radio 5 Live, but generally avoid.

It was the 'Public warnings' about 'not driving over the railway crossing when the lights are Red' that made me think 'What is actually going on here'

Resist.
