Semm a great deal but BEWARE!!!

They are NOT COMPATIBLE with a lot of mobiles. I made the mistake in getting a pair and then found they couldn't be used with my Sony Ericson K608i. Have since upgraded to the Sony Ericson W810i (after the great deal found with Virgin on this site) only to find I can't use them with this phone too.

Your mobile MUST BE A2DP COMPATIBLE for these to be any good. Don't make the same mistake as I did.

Still a very good price if you can use them, so voted hot.

Good price but I can’t recommend these at all. I found the design uncomfortable and they don’t press against your head much due to not having a band connecting the driver units so the bass was very weak.

I just bought one, then checked if my iPaq supports A2DP. I was lucky it's supported.

I agree with agharta - these are not very good, both uncomfortable and always losing connection with my SE phone. Wouldn't recommend even at this price . . .

bang on Agharta

cheap for the product however the design is terrible on these the units are too heavy and do not sit in the correct position long even at a walking pace. With the movement the sound quality is significantly reduced.

The connection range is good but unless you are sitting still they are no good. also please be advised the promotional image is deceptive as the units are not flat and stick out at least 2-3 cm from your head.

The one on the loop that goes round your neck are a lot better and are the in your ear type

This is a good price for quite a nice quality bit of kit. As stated before though they are typical sony in that their connectability is limited and how they sit on your ears is awkward.

The worst thing for me is that they look totally ridiculous when worn. Not that I'm fashionable nor usually all that bothered but for a device that only gives so-so performance it simply isn't worth it. Not to me anyway.

Like I say though, if it ticks your box then it's a great price so rated hot. :-)

I agree with the bad reports - good sound if you are sitting still.
Uncomfortable, daft-looking and wobbly when you move around

Oh yeah, forgot about that! It's how I imagine it feels to wear Pat Butcher style earings. Yurck!

Hmm. Sony makes a big deal of calling it's phones "Walkman Phones" and the like and it's a sodding big swizz. My wife has a 810i and that don't do ad2p.

Refering to boardsus.playstation.com/pla…970 it looks like PS3 does not support A2DP stereo bluetooth support. :-(

The price is good compared to what other stores are offering it for, but the headphones themselves are very poor. They are very heavy (but just about tolerable) for short periods of time whilst not moving, but forget about jogging or exercising with these things on. 'Cleavage for the ears' is how I'd describe these.

I bought these from Play.com about 12 monthes ago when they were on offer at £17.99. As a taster to the wonders of wireless audio I simply cannot fault the product for the money asked.

Since purchasing this product and realising the benefit of the under-rated A2DP/AVRCP standards, I decided to invest in a more stylish, lighter, more practical set by way of the DR-BT21G's which, whilst considerably more expensive, once you understand the versatility of BT headphones, you will, I assure you value that extra investment. I now use them with both of my notebooks and my mobile phone and unlike FM wireless, BT wireless suffers little to zero transmission artifacts at a distance of around about 10 meters from the source. The clarity is astounding.

I will never go back to wired headphones, and neither should you.

i've got a phone with A2DP fuctionality, i quite often stream radio from the internet (mostly radio 1) using real player or windows media player, will my phone play back the music using these headphones and these programs?

I've had a look at the customer reviews and samuel says "And with delight it worked as a microphone with my ps3 which was an extra delight" so it seems to be compatible with a PS3.

absolutely agree, these are a great idea. i brought some to use the last time they were on hot deals at £17.99 however they are far too heavy, do not sit secure on your ear and trust me i have practically pulled my ear off trying to fit them on closely. they are also bulky and look daft. also to note they go over both ears which unlike regular hands free over one ear you cant hear anything and to have a conversation with someone/passenger e.g in your car you have to take them off, them mess around to get them on, only used mine twice.

They are a good idea just not practical but still a hot deal for the price. hope this helps:thumbsup:

This phone is rather old now, anything on and including the w850i supports this feature but not the lesser phones. Technology moves slowly and always wants you to upgrade :-D

listing also states bluetooth - recieve calls etc. can be used as a hands free, regardless of which i have the same item and doesnt deter from the design of the headset as previously stated bulky, heavy and generally poor design.:whistling:

The point I was making of course they go over both ears as they are stereo they are primarily for listening to music with the option to answer calls.:whistling: As to being “bulky, heavy and generally poor design” I made no comment

play.com/Ele…tml

bit pricey there though although they should come down - got mine 6months ago from www.mymemory.co.uk for £17.99! but they don't seem to stock them any more.

Believe these are compatible with sony psp and sony announced plans to support skype for the psp today

will it be possible to use them with skype or any other communicator?
have anyone tried it?

cheers
tom

tomtomek as soon as you computer is able to recognise/pair them via bluetooth they should work as normal PC speakers. Will they work as stereo it depends on bluetooth specs.
