It is at least one of the newer Sony cameras which takes SD memory so needn't be avoided altogether for that reason. As an AA powered camera it still isn't fantastic value though. Warm at best.

Absolutely right - MemoryStick makes as much sense now as Betamax! There's always someone on HUKD to say we're wrong though.

Now Sony have addressed that issue it's down to comparison on a more level playing field though. For me Sony still expect to charge a premium for the brand which can't be justified by the product. Panasonic still leads for me.
