Get yourself a super-slim, top brand DVD player for less than £40! For a high quality picture the SCART socket is RGB equipped, giving vivid colour and clear definition.

High speed search, Instant replay, Picture Navigation and a video equalizer are all standard with the Sony DVP-NS29 - helping to ensure that the player doesn't just perform well, but is easy to use, too.

Get down to your local store to see this seasons best DVD player bargain for yourself! THIS ITEM IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN OUR STORES.

Blimey that is one hell of a bargain! I can recommend sony i got a different model player, had it 5 years and is flawless, still going strong now.

May get one of these for downstairs, can't complain for that price and richersounds are a great company too.

It seems odd to list all those features when 10 out of 17 of them are 'no'

The actual list of features is quite slim:

Remote control, 1 Scart socket, Coaxial Digital Output, CDR/RW playback, VCD/SVCD/MP3 playback, RGB output.

You get more features with this Toshiba richersounds.com/sho…260

Yeah the £30 Toshiba has much better features, including progressive scan and component connection which will make it look a lot better if you have a decent TV, optical out and divx if you need those. The £20 Eltax does all of that too, except divx, and it's definitely multi-region (because it says it is, the others might have codes available) but it's nearly half the price of the Sony.

If you've got a decent telly you should definitely get one with progressive scan and if you've not, well you might as well just get the £20 one anyway.

... and for not much more you copuld get the Toshiba 350 or 360e (cant remember the number exactly) and you get upscaling via HDMI if you have a HD Ready TV

I bought one of these Sony players when Richers were selling them for £29.95
It a cracking multi region player and has played everything that I've thrown at it, but like everything else, you should check that it'll do exactly what you want it to do.

I wouldn't get too excited, I live right near to one and every time I've been all the best offers are inevitably out of stock. My local branch listed about 11 VCRs once and of those, only two were in stock! I think Richer Sounds are rip-off merchants, just have a tiny stock of good offers to get you to visit the store then try and sell you something more expensive when you get there.

£29 in the Virgin Sale - INSTORE ONLY and very limited stock.
