god they did go quick, got mine at 1am this morning!

Don't get excited until you have it in your hands. I ordered another eReader from HMV and I just received a cancelled order notification :-(

I know they are out of stock but can you browse the internet on an e-reader or does it just do what it says on the tin (so to speak)?

Depends. This one has no means of Internet connection. The Amazon Kindle has either WiFi or WiFi + 3G (£109 or £149). It also has a rudimentary web browser. It would be fine for reading the odd article or blog, but completely inadequate for video.

Thanks for the info
