Next cheapest I could find is £129 plus delivery for this phone, and yes some people may prefer this to the SF!

top, top price. This could be the year Android finally catches up with IPhone in terms of quality of apps.

I prefer the OSF.

Prefer this to the SF,voted HOT

£5.05 cashback through TCB

why cold????

If only this had a better resolution (and bigger) screen in would be on par with the ZTE Blade (OSF)

haq

why cold????

because the lurkers hit the cold button constantly without rhyme or reason.

After trying both this and the Orange Sanfransisco(ZTE Blade) I have to say the blade wins if you ever want to read anything from the screen.

What do they mean by unlimited wifi? Openzone wifi?

No 3G is there? SF has 3G+

So a low resolution, smaller screen, no 3G, still no camera flash, currently only upgradeable to Android 2.1 Eclair..something tells me I am not cancelling my ZTE Blade order!

You have linked to the Xperia X10 there, this thread is for the Xperia X8

Not everyone wants a brick, that's why the X10 mini is selling well...

Isn't this thread you posted for the X8? 99 x 54 x 15 mm Weight :104 g compared to the ZTE Blade 116 x 56.5 x 11.8 mm. Weight : 130 g

Yeah, real big difference there huh? The Blade being slightly longer and slightly wider, and slightly thinner...give me the screen real estate and resolution any day....still not convinced to cancel my order and get an X8 let alone spend the extra £50 on a X10 Mini.

17mm is a lot between friends...

1.7 cm longer than the X8 hardly puts the ZTE Blade in "Brick" category, especially considering it has 1.27 cm (0.5 inch) larger screen.

It's the difference between fitting in most blokes pockets and not fitting...

Despite the cold votes, this is a good deal for this phone. Some people may prefer other phones but that's not what they should be voting for. The whole point of HUKD is to find particular items for the best price [rant over]

I think you will find people vote for what they "feel" is a bargain or not, if others feel there are comparable phones or even better specced for the same price or less that they prefer then they will choose not to vote, or to vote cold.

Perhaps because I am not a anorexic male I am sure that the ZTE Blade will have no problems with fitting in my trouser pocket without sticking out the top.

As CNET review, there are better phones for cheaper than this

The Cnet review mentions: Old 1.6 version of Android - It's now 2.1
User interface ill-suited to screen size - personal preference
Useless Timescape app - personal preference, and irrelevant as you can use other apps and delete Timescape if you don't like it...
They gave it 2 out of 5 stars, users give it 4 out of 5 stars. Enough said on that...
I haven't seen anywhere that you can get the LG Optimus One or HTC Wildfire for £112.33. The closest is the Wildfire for £129 and you may need to pay another £10 to get it unlocked depending where you get it from. The LG is £179 on T Mobile, not even close to £112.

Well, I am not sending my SF back, received today, overall sum of £73 it cost me, got the OLED version, Angry Birds running nicely on it upgraded to Froyo...has a much better screen than either the LG Optimus One or HTC Wildfire, leagues ahead of the competition at a fraction of the price. No way I would want to use a low resolution screen and limit the amount of applications....oh and the cost to unlock....nowt.
