Double check - It doesnt take £10 off the price but adds a voucher to your order.

Excellent price, just port any old number to 3, and they give you £10, plus £10 voucher, so effectively costs you about £20.

However 3 customer service is abysmal if I'm being nice about it.

Yes, yes it is. I was also shocked to find 'British' Telecom seem to share a similar idea of customer service - i.e. not in Britain. I feel sorry for those on the other end - they have only set scripts and beyond that can't help. They must get so much ****. Frankly it only helps shareholders.

Not a bad deal at all but unless you really need HSDPA, I'd look for a K800i at around this price (50-70) as it is still one of the best phones you can get under £100, even after 2 1/2 years. Better camera for starters.

I don't care about the fact that they are 3,000 miles away if they could just help instead of reading scripts back to me!

I don't either, they just often can't help sadly. Be internet's are based abroad but the people there seem to be non-scripted so can help (or seem to) a bit more. I'd be happy to ring the moon if they could help.

Past!

Quidco is not a def and shouldn't be taken off the price.

Where can you get the K800i for £50???? I can't see anywhere selling it near that price. Could you post a link as I need a replacement for my K750i.

I got a Sony Ericsson W580i from ]Littlewoods at the weekend using a £30 off voucher and 8% from Quidco it should work out at roughly about £38.17

Any one know if they can be unlocked??

But thats on Orange - this deal is'3' - the LIttlewoods is no use to those of us looking for a '3' phone...

Most 3 phones are unlockable - I assume this is no different

I just spoke to them at 3. It is unlockable. They will give you the code after you buy the phone . The code costs £15

Google maps sounds good! i'm assuming its free..

It is of use if it's a better phone with Walkman functionality and can be unlocked for peanuts.

3 have been good to me tbh. their service is as good as that of orange for example who are based here. its a case of explaining the situation clearly.

this phone is tempting, however, where does the 'G' range fit in ?. is it specifically the 3g/3 handsets, and is the browser/pc connectivity any good ?

regardings . . . ;-)

where does it say you get extra £10 top up if you port your old number? and how do you port old number and when do you get the extra £10 top up?

Weren't 3 on Watchdog last night?

I think you mean it has an MP3 player which alone isn't the same sort of functionality.

Yes it has an MP3 player meaning you can use it as your "walkman" although its not a walkman phone - (abit like the k800i)

All Sony Ericsson phones in this class have the same audio playing capabilities. It will be no different to the "Walkman" phones. The only difference is the branding on the outside of the phone itself and in the application that plays the music.

Well i've just got my Sony Ericsson W580i which is changing from my previous SE which played MP3's but wasn't a Walkman version. The Walkman phone has a dedicated Walkman button and a completely better user friendly proper Walkman interface. You can also change tracks by shaking it. It's basically a phone with a Walkman.

I see that the voucher does not work any more
Can you help on that?

Also I want to use it in with O2. Will it be possible?

Kind Regards,
Janusz

Off the top of my head I can't say but every now and again it pops up using a voucher like Littlewoods' offers for 1st time users and the like.
