thats great - these speakers are rubbish though, far better buying some JBL's and plugging them into your headphone jack.....good find though - just a sucker for good sound!!!

Just get a cheap 3.5mm adaptor and use your computer speakers - much better sound but not really portable...

Great for taking out camping or something, get fairly loud and quality is better than any other speakers of similar price/size.

are there any vouchers to go with this?
even a £5 one would bring it down to £1.99

at over 3 times the price? no thanks. I know you get what you pay for yadda yadda yadda but for those who aren't that bothered about amazing sound quality this is the better deal

Missing the point surely though? Small transportable speakers handy for holidays etc.

Looking at the reviews I may go for the MPS-70s

this is small and portable with a USB port:?

Ive got a set of the MPS60 and cant fault them, excellent for taking out and about as need no seperate power source (runs direct from phone) comes in a handy case to protect which doubles up as a stand when playing the radio or MP3s.......Sound quality is good not tinny or anything else you might expect from such a small pair of speakers.

I also have the MDS 60 which has excellent sound quality you can really turn it up and get no distortion, it also charges your phone while in the cradle playing the radio or MP3s.

Both well worth the money IMO

Sorry. It is small and portable but not quite enough for me. I travel on RyanAir frequently with hand luggage only so need something as small as possible. As mentioned above the JBLs need some sort of power supply so that's extra weight (in the case of batteries) or space (in the case of mains cable).

Thanks to the OP for making me aware of these speakers. I picked up a new pair of MPS-60s from Ebay for £4.99 delivered last night. Hopefully my life will not be changed due to lack of USB port!

Size wise the speakers on the MPS60 and 70 are 55mm x 32mm x 42mm (so 110 x 32 x 42mm for 2)
JBL size is 150mm x 150mm x 38mm

Okay - so they are both small but I will get the MPS60s in hand luggage easier and with the £30 saving I can buy at least 3 return flights to Europe!

Got some of these for £1 in Clearance Bargains not long ago - they weren't on shelves but they were kept behind the till - if anyone has one near them I'd check it out.
