12 Month Contract - Vodafone
£40 per month
700 minutes + 250 texts
£400 cashback
£50 Quidco cashback

That makes it a total of £30 for the whole year. You just need to send off the correct 4 bills off within 60 days as in the Ts&Cs for the offer.

Warning: Don't do this is if you aren't organised enough to send off the correct bills within 60 days or it will cost you £400 more!!!

Phones4u have been around for a few years and so are unlikely to go bust within the 12 months of the contract so you should be reasonably safe so long as you can send the correct 4 bills off within the 60 days. Always send them by recorded delivery and set your self reminders with tart-alert or MS Outlook or something else.

Also cancel the 3 month free insurance as soon as you get the phone.

Have been waiting for a good deal for a while now, but the problem is that I need to keep my number so that means that it has to be on Orange or T-Mobile as you can;t port a number to Vodafone or O2. It's quite silly to change the number every 12-18 months.. Any suggestion?

you can port to o2 and vodafone ive done it before?

That phone is only worth £40 - £50 max

Not if you are buying from Phones4u

Yes you can... You just call the network directly with your PAC code, and they'll sort out the port for you

Is it after you have received the phone from phones4u? Will it affect quidco and cashback?

Won't affect cashback, dunno about quidco though :s

You just call the network after the sim becomes active (usually about 2-24 hrs)

3. Why can't I port my number to O2 or Vodafone?

We are currently developing the porting functionality for O2 and Vodafone. In the meantime, if you want to switch to O2 or Vodafone network and still keep your old mobile number, we suggest you visit your local Phones4u store, which will be able to help you with your request.

From Mobiles2yourdoor:

We currently only support number porting when transferring to T-mobile, Orange, Three, Virgin and BT Mobile, but not Vodafone or O2.

Bit of a chance there....unless anyone has been instore and done it there?
