Just noticed that Three have added the W950i for free to their £20 a month student price plans. This looks like a real good deal considering the phone's not that old and looks really good (no camera though). The phone supports X-Series too.

It's worth noting that the price plan is actually available to everyone, not just students.

dont three give you a 7/14 day no hassle return

I'm a bit tempted to get this, but the lack of camera does put me off. Otherwise it looks like a great phone and reviews I've seen have all been very positive. Does anyone know if you can run the Tom Tom software on it?

If anyone's used one, what did you think of the size of it? I've got a K700i at the moment and apparently it's about 0.5cm taller and wider than that.

The phone itself is pretty big and bulky. My boyfriend has had one for a while now and he hates it. The touch screen seems to cause him a lot of problems, and he hates the text facility. In fact, he now refuses to text me from the phone cos it annoys him so much!! ha ha. On a positive note, he does say its a great walkman phone. Lack of camera is also a pain, but not everyone uses a camera, so i guess its up to the individual!
It is a very posh and flashy loking phone tho!!

I have to disagree with the texting and the touch screen - best I've used once you get used to it! And the TOMTOM Sat Nav is a big plus!

Also available on :

£20 Talker (For Life Offer on Talk and Text 600) tariff : 500 x-net anytime minutes + 100 texts / month

Cheers for the opinions guys. I'm going to have a look at one in the shop at the weekend just to get a better idea of size and how the keypad is to use. It might be wider than my current phone but it's thinner which is a bonus.

The £20 talker tariff looks like the one to go for, and then you can add X-Series Silver for a fiver more a month. That gives you unlimited Skype calls and unlimited internet access. Bargain I reckon compared to the other networks!

Wish id got this instead of my 6288..

voted hot!

Three is very good...I'm in Northern Ireland and coverage here is normally not as good (for all the networks!) in certain places....at least idf the signal drops or is too low for THREE, it defaults to the Orange network....so I reckon you're on a win win situation....plus with the THREE network (my wife and I went for the 6288) our daughter loves it cos when she's bored and we're out somewhere she can talk to all her mates on MSN....

don't forget Quidco...makes it very attractive....also refer a friend gets you another £30....need a friend....just PM me

Good deal mate thanks..

Can't find this deal on the 3 website. Can someone link a URL, or give instructions? Thanks.
