i know that this is a similar deal to the HTC sensation and Galaxy S2 but i think this deal is the real bargain!!!!

the Sony ARC is a very distinctive phone, its gingerbread 2.3 out of the box and SONY Bravia screen technology. the reviews have placed it 3rd after the HTC and the Samsung but if you dont want to follow the crowd and want a very stylish phone then this has to be it, and for the price this works out at only £369.99 for the year with the potential for £30 quidco.

So £339.99 for the phone is even better than the Pay as you go deals(£349 is the cheapest) plus you get 300 minutes 1000 texts a 1GB of Data!!!

no brainer really

Could the cold voters please explain themselves?!?! This deal is CHEAPER than PAYG!!!

hmmm £340 after quidco compared to desire S which is £240 after cashback and quidco (400mins, 1000 txts, 1gb data - £30pm on12 month contract + 3 months free via redemption and £30 quidco). Tough decision but I'd rather save the £100 and go for the desire s + have the extra 100 mins.

This is the best deal for the Xperia Arc. Some people may only want this phone. This deal for this phone is HOT! This site is Hot UK Deals so you really shouldn't vote cold unless you can find the exact same phone cheaper!!!!

1. Price should include what it costs you to get the deal - £369.99, not £39.99.
2. You shouldn't include Quidco in the total price.

I've no idea if it's a good deal or not, but that's why some people will be voting cold.

Thanks for the tips I think people vote deals cold just for the sake of it. There's a serious lack of hot deals on this site these days. I wonder why.......hmmm!!

chet, you aint saving £100, your deal is £5 more a month so its only £40 cheaper, i'd rather pay that for a much better looking, more powerful and upto date phone in the Sony thanks.

£90 cashback via redemption. Desire S deal - £30pm x 12 = £360. £90 cashback = £270. £30 quidco = £240

The Arc deal is £25 x 12 = £300 + £70 for phone = £370 less quidco = £340. i.e £100 difference to the desire S over the contract

i got myself the xperia neo which has similar spec for £35 a month on tmobile with unlimted mins texts and net paid £30 towards the handset think its an excellent offer as my bill will never come higher than £35 a month

I have the ARC and would say it is worth the extra £100 over the contract compared to desire S the ARC is excellent .. but then you could argue the same and pay the £5 extra for the sensations with a little extra up front compared to the ARC !!!!

Im tossing up getting an arc or an s2 - anyone wanna share a heads up over the best investment

That was my choice to, both great phones, I went with the sony as it was cheaper and also a more stylish phone, it feels great to hold and looks different from the norm and not like the htc clones that all look the same!

I went for the Arc as well on the basis that it worked out much cheaper for an upgrade package (O2)and the screen is huge - brilliant for watching films on. Have had a few issues but the support centre online have been great in sorting them out.

Im all confused now. Tho theres nothing new there. ty guys

Hot deals includes other things apart from price - like quality, customer service etc. For me the Sony Ericsson Xperia are the pits. Useless. I have thrown mine away in disgust and gone back to Samsung. Not worth even giving them away.

E2save have the exact same deal but you only pay £19.99 for the phone.
( They are also the same company)
