I saw this one as well in-store last night as well. Not sure exactly what the start price was or the model number but it was DUAL TUNER and said it had 80 HOURS RECORDING on the box so i though that was pretty good for the price.

Maybe someone could expand on this a bit if they seen this too.

Cheaper at amazon and rubbish reviews. Voted Cold.

These are meant to be very noisy. You'd be better off spending the extra on a Humax 9200T

These are a Digifusion clone or a clone of some other manufacturer which can be bought for less but without the flashy case. Not seen a good review on it yet so best avoid. Probably why it's "cheap"

Yep, spend the extra on a Humax 9200 or Topfield PVR any day. The Sony really is "not very good" (being polite!)

Yes! I have had the Humax. Best thing that I have purchased ever!

Only 1 thing though you can't set more than 20 programs to record in one go. Have been advised that this will be lifted when the new software update is on air.

The Humax is awesome - I waited for it when it came out bought it and NEVER had any problems.

Pretty silent as well. The SONY is a NO go.

Yup I agree with these guys - Humax really good for a variety of reasons - Sony - *******

Humax is great but does have problems occaisionally.

Previously recorded programs which have been watched no longer play.
Machine freezes during fast forward.
Program information doesn't always register.

Still one of the best around though.

Never had any of those problems myself. I do have the latest firmware installed though, which was installed via PC, as it's not available over the air yet...
