My collage brought these cameras for media studies, they're very good camera's especially for this price if your looking to pick up a simple mini dv camcorder.

Excellent price and instock as well

Carl Zeiss lens

That's one of the most important features.

Damn Good price.

Now can I justify.......

I think the following is a better deal Its free delivery only 5 pound extra

I vote hot!

I was researching for a new camcorder last week and this is a great price for an entry level DV camcorder.

(I ended up buying a Sanyo CG65 SD card camcorder in the end)

I got this camcorder last Xmas (price £179). It is a good family camera and good value even at £179.

I dont know anything about camcorders but the one in the above link is the same price on Dabs.com and you get 3% quidco and £5 off with google checkout. Quidco is only 2.5% for non BT brand items on bt.com

the only diff between the 24 model at ebuyer and the 35 model at BT is that the 35 model has i.Link Input...all DV cameras have i.Link OUTPUT...

That's because Dabs is now owned by BT. Good tip on Quidco/Google though.

so is everyone buying the model from dabs/bt shop? then even though only 1 difference and dont think id ever use i.link input

10 people have ordered the ebuyer 24 model since I posted that message.

I'm interested in a cheapish (under 200 quids) mini-dv camcorder but was looking for one with that I can use an external microphone with. Do all camcorders come with in-built mics these days?

Great - Just ordered from the BT Shop as I believe it is the same model I bought a few years ago for close to £300! (Took it back as I never used it). Even if I don't use this one at £130 minus Quidco with the DV In and Out (I read somewhere this is worth getting) it can gather dust as far as I'm concerned! :giggle:

A Good price but high definition version out now so old technology hence why a reduced price i suppose

Dabs have had the cheek to send me a customer return! There is even a Jessops flyer in the box!
