Shoot hands-free – even underwater

Going deep down? Don’t sweat it – the Action Cam comes with a case that's waterproof to 60m. Throw in accessories that help you film hands-free and you’ve got a camera you can take anywhere.

Share films with built-in Wi-Fi

When the action’s over, watch it back on your smartphone using the PlayMemories Mobile app and Action Cam’s built-in Wi-Fi. No cables, no hook-ups. Just you, in full flow.

Picture perfect

Forget shaky footage with our unique SteadyShot feature. It keeps footage smooth when things get rough. Pick from five recording modes, including Full HD and HD super-slow, which shoots 120 frames a second so you can replay the action four times slower.

And a super-sensitive Exmor R™ CMOS sensor guarantees beautiful HD, even in low light. Tessar//robust optic build (good for outdoor action)//reduced reflection & less stray light due to high quality coating that leads to reduced reflexion.

why is this cold?
i think the ones who cant afford it will vote cold
Probably cold due to the retailer , but remember Currys/PC World are part of the same group and 'usually' have the same prices on click & collect...
I had one of these at home on trial, in addition to a Contour and a GoPro Hero 3 Silver - opted for the GoPro in the end, although the image stabilisation (and lens) is very good on the Sony.

Good price, but read a few online reviews first - one thing GoPro wins hands down on is the range of mounts if you're using it for varying outdoor pursuits - the Sony is quite limited in this respect.
