Its a fantastic price for a cute little camera, I got it for £620 from comet, and I defenitely enjoyed using this camera, every minute of it, and its HD.

I got one and it's amazed me the difference between this and my old JVC minidv camcorder. Works great with the PS3 - just plug it in and watch in lovely HD.

Has anyone who used it used a HC3 or HC1? If so,how do they compare? Thanks

Thanks zdhmp3

My dad has one of these an it is superb. Though the bundled software is er ... pants.

I know Sony Vegas is suggested, but, what are other people using to edit video with and retain full resolution with no visible compression?

A good price for HD but noticed the image sensors are Effective Sensor Resolution: Video: 1.43 Mpix - Still: 2.0 Mpix which is still very good and similar to standard camcorders but looks like the more expensive model HDR-SR7E is 2.3 on video and 3.0 on still. Stange, maybe amazon got their details wrong as says 4mp on the picture!
