Looks good

oh looks good, tempted, need to get a new camcorder although i keep reading reviews about the panasonic being the best in its class etc

Got TG3E which I would sell to get one of these... cough!(_;)

not bad but how picture quality stands to entry level avchd camcorders?

I have ordered one too good price to miss it, I have already canon camcorder 32gb Canon LEGRIA HF R18 but going to sell as it is unused

cold for me. sorry but i have the tg3 and it sucks!
the camera function seized working after warranty expired and sony wants £170 to fix it. known problem too!

the only thing i like about this is the size. lowlight capability is poor. and before anyone tells me, the TG3 and TG7 USE the same sensor!

This deal is for the TG7, there is no evidence on the forum you linked to to suggest the TG7 is prone to the same problem as the TG3.

The review here states" it copes in low light rather well, with noise kept to a minimum" and here "the TG7VE records a surprisingly good picture in low light ... the picture is a little noisy in poor illumination, but it’s also surprisingly bright and full of colour"

vs Inside (recording ... they had a lot of electronic noise and visible graininess"

I guess since those reviews were written the goal posts have moved, their reviews were relevant to the original high price and so perhaps relative to other £300 models today this is actually very good value?
