Cheapest I've seen this Soundbar, very tempted as I currently don't have the room for 7/5.1 system.

cheapest, not bad, but not the best, due to lack of display seeing the highest and lowest volume etc,
and in front of my sony it blocks the infared signal
so have to put else where
apart from that good price

The kitsound was better at 90 when they did that on offer... No bluetooth aswell with these.....

What about the Pioneer sbx 300?
It's at £159 at very at the moment, I have a 10% offer and it's 12 months buy now pay later, go through via tcb and another few pounds off!

good find, I've got one of these and it makes a big difference to the sound from your TV, think they were £110 previously

I bought the Roth sub zero soundbar for my new Sony TV at the weekend and had the same problem. I just raised the height of the TV by putting 2 old PVR's under it and covered them in black paper and it looks fine

Are soundbars actually good?

I just bought a Sony LED TV and it sounds damn awful as most ultra thin TV's do now as there is no room for decent speakers. I put the Roth soundbar on it with a toslink cable and it's like sitting in the cinema now, brilliant sound ...buy one!

i bought this for £99 last christmas and its a great bit of kit . sounds good and is loud enough for me .

Lianne, let's see.
I don't want to get a amp and a speakers set, but I may go for the pioneer soundbar!

How long is the cable to the subwoofer on these...and is it easy to lengthen it?

I'd be interesting in a any link for the extension for the subwoofer as I have said system and cannot find the extension lead.

Do you just connect these to your TV and then any sound through your TV comes through this as well.

Yep, using optical out from your TV.

Great sound bar had to put ours away as it was too loud in the evenings when the kids were in bed

Can anyone confirm if this has hdmi inputs ?
Thanks

weak no blue tooth support. Mason teaspoon I would get one. Is 60w even load

I have the wireless ht-ct260 and find it perfect for what I use it for, if you're not fussed about cable or can easily hide it this is a great soundbar at a great price in my opinion :-)

Yes. Plug it into the headphone jack and away you go.

At least the ones I've seen up close work this way. They produce pretty decent extra oomph for what little space they take up.

EDIT- Amazon reviews say this one uses an optical cable.

As loud as a good lightbulb

It is £94.99 at Argos with a £5 voucher or spend over £100 for a £10 voucher.

They're better than the crummy speakers in a flat panel TV, that's for sure.

But no-where near as good as a proper AV amp and speakers.

Are these a good substitute for surround sound speakers?

Awesome for the price, make sure you set the TV to output to it exclusively though or it sounds naff (obvs!).
Don't buy on brand though - I bought this as I have a Sony TV and it's too high for the tv (blocks infrared as noted above) and I can't control it from my TV remote which is rubbish!
Sound quality is good though and it has the separate sub which some of them dont.

17 Dec for delivery?

I've got a full yamaha set up in the front room and I'm after a soundbar for the bedroom but I run a magic eye from downstairs to the bedroom so will a soundbar still work with this set up ? Cheers

Just got this for £50 worth of tesco vouchers plus quidco.

Link now shows price as £94.99
