It's £300 at Centersdirect.co.uk but the reviews for this system are not that good.

just called the store and they said its £299 so you got lucky with that price.

I have this. It's a good soundbar when it works, but for a long time was plagued by audio sync issues that cropped up when it was connected to the internet. A recent firmware update appears to have finally fixed this

I have this also. Easy to set up and works very well with great sound. Bargain at this price.

Well known fact that SONY's own Soundbars aren't compatible with SONYs own kit... Sony choose to bury their head in the sand

Ran a Sony TV and Sony soundbar & subwoofer together for almost a year... not a single problem!

I own this and it works great apart from two niggly issues:

- Pressing Home on the remote to change input has a mind of its own and will move the cursor selection to USB (which has never had anything plugged in!) around 1/2 a second after the menu appears. Just long enough for you to select the menu option you want and as just before you hit ENTER it jumps to USB. Every f**ing time.
- Doesn't play nicely with Virgin V6 box - had to move to it to HDMI 3 to get it to work. It negotiates 4K with the V6 box, but then my TVI isn't 4K or HDCP 2.2 so V6 then refuses to display. Can't find an option to force to older 1080p/HDCP standard.

Have PS4, Tivo & Apple TV plugged in directly, and use ARC from a 2010 Samsung TV for Fire TV/Chromecast, and gave me exactly what I needed - surround sound without running cables from TV to back of room!

For me it is working fine for last one week now and quite happy with it.

Heres my amazon review if it helps ..

"Had I reviewed this item up to 5 months of ownership I would probably have given it 5 stars. Looks stylish, bags of features, dialogue is very clear and sub woofer packs a punch. However it was after 5 months that I encountered 'Drifting Audio Sync'. What this means is that you will start watching something with sound and picture happily in sync, then gradually the sound will become more and and more out of sync until you have to reboot or disconnect equipment to bring back into line.

Over a number of weeks the frequency of the problem has increased for me to the point that the equipment is almost useless. This is certainly not unique to me - if you head over to the SONY forum you'll see a lot of unhappy people with the same issue. SONY are sufficiently aware of the problem to have given it a name (Drifting Audio Sync.) However they do not know the cause and therefore have no fix."

Since this review a workaround of disconnecting from the internet (and therefore losing functionality) has provided a partial solution (for most people, most of the time.) Also a firmware update has allegedly fixed this but haven't tried myself as previous updates claimed to fix it and didn't - and also the workaround is currently working for me and I don't want to rock the boat !

Thanks for the redirect to buy online. I think the post should be updated to £299 as that seems to be the commonly available price. P&P is, however, free. I have ordered one and it arrives tomorrow. Agreed there are some bad reviews but there are lots of good ones too. considering the discount and the convenience of wireless capability I'm risking it.

YES 100% should be updated as the store confirmed the £299 price. I also ordered 1 and arrives tomorrow but got a price match from ao.com as my cards don't seem to work on centersdirect.co.uk

Would've ordered from JL but don't have the full price and then request price match.
