Went to Asda Living in Bradford on sunday and saw these. Great price! The dock also works with iphone 3gs and iphone 4 (tested). Went to sainsburys to compare the prices and the same model was on 'offer' for £69.99.

seen this a couple weeks back & was tempted however am not planning to keep iPhone any more so no point getting this. Great deal though

bought one of these about a year ago, great sound however the display light is way to bright even on its lowest setting

These were 34.99 delivered on argos ebay outlet about a month ago! Although reconditioned.. So a good price considering you can take it off the shelf brand new. Cheapest in its range and a good brand Hot

great dock defo worth the money

Sounds like a great deal. Thanks for posting. Been looking for something like this so may look into it.

I agree the clock is way to bright, I have to cover it at night rendering the clock usless, also a corner post of the ipod connector broke off mine and niether my ipod or iphone will charge or play anymore

I demo'd one of these, it sounded awful, I guess if a few others think it sounds good, the one I tried may have been faulty.

Good deal, got mine about a year ago at full price, was worth it at £70 never mind £40. I also agree that the clock light is far too bright on the lowest setting, i use my sky remote to cover it once i put the tv off at night, other wise its bright enough to light the room a little and annoying enough to keep you awake. The sound from it is brilliant though, very clear from both iphone and the radio, espcially in stereo.

i bought one of these on offer from tesco for £50, a great little unit

only downside for me, the aux input is a little quiet but from my iphone there is great volume and sound reproduction

hot from me

None in Aintree, Liverpool

Why the hell do Sony make products with an ipod dock when their own MP3 players are miles better?

I bought one of these back when they were £80 in PCWorld, and immediately returned it. I made the mistake of assuming it'd be remotely good as a stereo in addition to a clock radio, and it's very, very not.

It's an alright buy at £40, but I definitely wouldn't pay any more than that.

Clearly even Sony don't believe that.

I have one of these. Light is a little bright but certainly not enough to distract me from sleeping!

Sound quality is very reasonable in my opinion.

Sony are making products for the superior Apple products to use. Sony need to keep up with the market leader. Haven't Sony just started a new range of touch screen mp3/media players? Mmmm makes you wonder!

Majicall...

If this is the case and they prove to do a half decent job of it, our kid will be getting an iPod touch for Christmas! Heheh!!!
