Or cut out the middleman and just get an LG.

Although I've seen a couple of mixed comments on the B7/C7 and experienced the LG back light bleed myself on my current LED. Also, the fact the price has fluctuated all over the place from £1350 - £1800 in the last few months, I've no idea what is going on.

You ain't gonna get back-light bleed on an OLED.

The picture on this TV looks so much better than the LG picture - Sony really do work some magic with their processor. Just a shame there is such a price difference on the brand new models

Bobbins! The picture is virtually identical to the 2017 Lg's with very minor differences between the two.

The only witchcraft going on is the Sony handles motion slightly better.

I personally prefer the picture on the Sony. I saw a lot of difference especially colour production. The X1 extreme makes a big difference with picture processing, especially upscaling.

Just what I was thinking
I've done so much research and listened to so many reviews on TV's recently and this one tops the lot as far as OLEDs go. And at this price I think it's a steal personally. Heat added. 🔥

This isn't the best imo. Close 2nd yes I looked at buying on of these, but opted for the Panasonic EZ1002. Yes it is cheap at this price but a risk without a 5 year warranty
I don’t really worry to much about tv warranties to be honest as your covered under statutory law. Ive had TVs where I’ve had fixed or replaced after 4years.
Not to sure where you stand with refurbished goods though and whether it changes your rights.

Both good TV's. I do like the look of the Panasonic but for me the picture on the Sony just wins it for me.
It's only a little bit more at Currys for this brand new. We just bought one 2 weeks ago. It's fantastic, and it's not all about the picture - don't forget the sound on this beats any LG! Currys dropped the price by £300 the day after we bought it so they refunded due to their price promise. There is a great video on You Tube by Vincent a TV reviewer and he gives the best settings for the TV, set it like he says and picture is out of this world!
Get a brand new EZ952 for the same price. Better tv and no chance of bricking unlike the A1. Google it...
Am two weeks into using an LG B7 and am blown away with it. Purchased it to watch 4K football on SkyQ and HDR, amazing value/PQ, and paid £1479 from Richer Sounds. Can't see their being any significant difference in PQ to justify the extra cost and the 5 year shorter warranty.

So tempted to get a LG B7. Whats standard definition channels like it on though? It still bothers me about the lack of 4K content and I’ve heard that it doesn’t upscale SD pictures very well and if anything makes them worse.
Don't watch SD, HD is brilliant far better than LCD/LED, bluray very good to.
