I bought this tv from John Lewis for £649 and have to say it’s pretty decent for the price. Sure the remote is dated but the tv is great. Build quality seems a little cheap due to it’s all plastic design but once together it seems solid.
The picture out out of the box is pretty accurate and only needs slight tweaking to get good results.
There is no banding or obvious clouding issues like I had on the 3 previous Hisense TVs I returned and watching sports (football and F1) in HD is a pleasure.
i had an issue with sound from my Xbox and had to alter the settings in the XBone dashboard to Send a Dolby stereo signal via HDMI to get stop the missing and cracking sound.
Also had had an issue with forcing 1080p signal with our Nintendo Switch. If left to automatic it defaults to 1080p and runs fine but if forced to accept 1080p I got line artifacts on dark scenes.

this tv does work flawless with my PS4 and GT sport demo looked awesome with HDR enabled (standard PS4 can do HDR @ 1080p) all you need to is enable HDR in GT sports display menu, set the PS4 to automatically enable HDR and switch the scene to HDR on the tv and away it goes looking stunning.
sure there is better out there in terms of 4K and HDR but for less than £650 we paid you are hard pushed to find something better, and believe me we tried.

Hey, leave cowboys alone, they don't deserve to be besmirched by being compared with Currys.

Last TV that I (and several others on this site) ordered from curry's eBay outlet they claimed it was out of stock and cancelled the order, despite there being stock on their website but at a higher price for the same TV. Cowboys thru and thru

Cheers. Think I'll keep looking, seems an expensive punt. I'd much rather see what I'm buying for that price.

Doesn't matter anyway mate - even if you bought it Curry's would cancel it after taking your money and sitting on it for a week before refunding it. Shisters

Ah yes. Tax dodging American multinationals are much better for us.

I'm interested in purchasing a coupe of these TVs but the price seems to have jumped from around 580 to 649 in the last couple of days! Black Friday con?
