I checked places the other day and richersounds and john lewis were both offering this at £1299. They then gave you a £100 voucher after. So same price overall.
Would they price match the 55inch version? It says save 100 with the code but you can't buy online.

Doesn’t make it the same price if you only get a voucher after. You’d have to be buying something else for that to be the case.

Enjoy your burn in

Had an oled for 5 years and recently purchased a new one. Not once have I experienced burn in.
Got RS to price beat Costco so paid £1149 as a heads up for anybody looking to get this.

Had 2 in as many years and both have suffered burn in. Never getting another OLED. I’m disappointed that we’re in 2020 and a TV manufacturer cannot utilise AI to detect a static logo and ‘move’ this logo or dramatically dim the logo. Also spoken to a few owners of OLEDa who have experienced similar.

Something like having Sky Sports News on for 4 hours should not result in burn in but it has. Shocking when you think or the price of OLED!!

Enjoy the awful brightness levels of OLED

Sorry to hear that mate. Must be bad luck.

Hasn’t happened for me so don’t care lol

Love the brightness

Then you've never watched OLED and FALD LED panels side by side. OLED has to be watched in a dim or darkened room and the AI to stop OLED burning in further restricts the brightness.

Whereas you'd be blown away by the FALD and punchiness of this Sony.
@Thomas_Woodman what is the price at Costco currently and did you need to provide RS with a screenshot?

FALD is brilliant I agree. But then again who would be slagging off their own TVs even if they are rubbish.

I’ve seen alot of TVs on the market and none of them compared in picture quality of the LG E9. Not really bothered about other people’s opinions. Remember, what you’re saying is in fact your opinion. Forcing it just makes you seem desperate to be right.

It’s all ok Davey boy.
