The XF90 isn't much better (if any better) than the XE93. This comparison of the two generally favours the XE93, which has better black levels and local dimming despite being edge-lit, as well as higher peak brightness:

The XF90 is really a replacement for the XE90, which is a model down the product stack from this (though it's functionally also replacing this, since Sony are shifting more towards OLED it seems).
The XF is NOT much better. The XF has been designed to replace both the 9005 and 9305. It's better than the former, not as good as the latter. One of the very best LCD's money can buy, giving you near-OLED performance without the risk of image burn. The price has "settled" because we are down to the last few in stock. Fantastic TV, worth every penny of the £1400 I paid for it, so a steal at £1280.
If your a co op member, you get 5% off aswell. A buddy of mines tried it,it gave him a discount of £63.95. So with that and the £100 off code, you get £163.95 off the total price. Great deal, I’m sure co op have a 5 year Sony warranty aswell

I think the £1215 is the price after taking off £100 with the code and taking off 5% for co-op membership.

There is no 5% off for COOP membership for this TV unless I am doing something wrong.
