Cheers This Sony model was ~£860 at the beginning of 2018 and did fall to around £599 at the start of this year and now it's at the lowest price.
Any opinions on this or an LG 55UK7550? thanks
Anyone know what the input lag is? Sony told me they dont give out that info! After being a customer for 20 years my default response is to buy something else.
@unknownorigin according to displayspecifications.com/en/…31e , this series has 17ms Lag. Of course take that with a grain of salt as displayspecs are predominantly aggregated.
If any one does know how this compares against the LG unknown mentioned or against the Samsung NU7400 series, I'd love to know as well.

You'll be looking at 30-40ms input lag. You can check here for similar models, and I think these are the higher series ones: displaylag.com/dis…se/
this or Samsung UE55NU7400?

Thanks for that, I had done some searching but couldn't find anything. That site is good, comparing the two has shown me the Sony is direct and the LG edge, which is good to know! Costco has the 55UK7550 for £539.36931601-GmSmo.jpg

No, it's Linux based. Cannot add or remove apps.
I bought a Sony TV on a similar deal to this 3 years ago and developed a hardware fault at the weekend. Neither Amazon or Sony want anything to do with it. Won't be buying Sony again without a 5 or 6 warranty (Richer Sounds / JL etc) that's for sure!

I bought a Sony KD65XD9305BU a couple of years ago and have had no issues with the Android OS, works a treat.
